Car setup is an important aspect of simracing. It allows to fine tune the balance of the car, which results in cars that are faster and easier to drive.
However many people tend to skip this process because they consider it too technical and tedious to deal with.
Here’s some ideas to make it more simple and accessible to everyone:
- Race engineer
In PC2 there’s the option to “speak” with the race engineer. You can point what’s the problem with the car and he will suggest a possible solution.
Example: “My car suffers from oversteering” → “Apply softer rear anti-roll bar”
- Presets
Similar to ACC, make more than one default setup. These presets can be used as a starting point and then you can rely on the race engineer to easily fine-tune the car to your liking.
