Updating a tune

I already have tunes shared out but suppose I want to update just the description on a few of them. This will completely reset the stats on it I presume? Obviously I can try it and find out but losing the ratings, etc is kind of a bummer.

Also as a secondary question if you do actually change a setting on the tune, does the leaderboard use this change or the original tune that set the leaderboard time. For example, I set a time with my shared tune on “TRACK X”, I then go and update a spring setting and re-save (overwrite the tune). Someone downloads the tune from the leaderboard, do they get the updated tune or do they get the original tune? I would hope they would get the original tune that set the time otherwise some people might like to change the tune after setting a top time with it. Of course nobody would do that now would they?

  1. Description change on a shared car doesnt work unfortunetly.

  2. Any changes made to a car after its shared dont affect the shared car… just rename the new car for examlle as “even better.”

  1. Changing anything on the tune will break the link to the leaderboard and it will no longer be available for download.

  2. DO NOT download your own tune. You will end up with two copies one unlocked and one locked. If you delete the locked tune BOTH will get deleted and it will no longer be available for download. I learned this the hard way when I forgot which tune I ran and thought it would be easy to just download and verify.
