Unsharing and resharing tunes causes issues?

So last night I unshared and reshared two tunes to change the description of them, for them to be more concise and relevant. Unfortunately thereafter, it seemed to have reset. removing any information (at least for me) of any prior downloads, rating and uses. Obviously I’d like a way to change description because it’s not ideal if it resets.

I changed the description to summarise its capabilities better but having no prior history might be detrimental as I’m certainly not the highest tier of driver and we’ve all seen some crazy claims on storefronts. If I claim #1s then I fear people may not be so inclined to believe them. I hope people understand my point, to use prior history as evidence to bolster legitimacy, if many people have downloaded and used them, it ought to show better, because I don’t want to be perceived as one with outlandish claims.

When you remove previous Tunes, you are also removing its details from the servers, which include previous donloads uses etc, also you will forfeit any “future use” payouts of the previously shared tune. This is explained when you remove previous from your storefront. The only way to get around this is to leave previous share up, and upload a new version (updated decription etc) then explain it is updated.

Meh, an annoyance but that answers that one then!

If only we had an option to update description.

This would be fantastic - however me thinks there are more important things that will be looked at. Maybe we’ll have it in FM7.
