Liveries in FH5 are not pixel based grafics
Its vector based (scaleable vector grafic) you can do at home for example with AdobeIllustrator.
For that reason I can understand why there is not a pen.
But I can’t understand why we not allowed to import *.ai or *.svg files we do at home with a vector based graphics editor (like AdobeIllustrator) because most svg-editors are better than the ingame one…
Im pretty sure the special liveries like the earthday one are imports and not done with the ingame editor.
The pen tool is actually one of the most used tools to create vector art. Adobe Illustrator has a pen tool. I guess the problem is that forza doesn’t use the standard vector graphics as you cannot create a totally new shape without using premade ones. That’s where the problem lies.
I understand why allowing users to import is not a good idea from their perspective, people will just add other peoples art work as their own. I’m personally more of the idea of adding more functionality within the forza editor itself. This leads to better artwork faster and credibility is easy to check.
I wish that they could also add an official import svg vectors to the game since it would be a safer option compared to the third party tools to bring images that you wish to the game
Hello Hello @cometLevy9 ! I do have a few recommendations to this post as luckily alot of this already exists. You can use glass2k to overlay tabs as reference images and obeys tos. As well as you could use a color dropper that automatically converts to Forza painting values. I highly recommend checking this forum out to learn more about it and how it works. If you need more info feel free to mention me here. I do it on my xbox (just need a laptop/pc) and it works on just pc as well. If your interested in pallets I use:
I wish we could get a more advanced colour picker system, something similar to the Colour Picker that Google has, image how much easier recreating paints would be if we code just type the paint code into the colour picker, paints that people recreate would be a lot more accurate to what they look like in real life
