ok thanks, yea was on wets in both.
I really hope they rebalance the sound stage in addition to improving/fixing individual car sounds, so that car audio primarily utilises the 5.1/7.1 surround channels properly.
Nice race at Hakone @MsSpydaSam.
Did your tires wear out during the last 2 mins?
I also saw you were battling for most of the race on Silverstone!
I had the exact same problem, then I ended up doing a pit stop in lap 4 and the other drivers didnāt do any and I ended up on the 11th place or something.
After that I restarted the race didnāt do any pit stops anymore and the rest went smooth. I wasted around 15 minutes of time on this, things like that shouldnāt happen.
It was a fun one.
Initially I thought my street tires Evo IX wonāt keep up with the Corolla. But I always reeled it back in during the technical sections.
Couldnāt get the overtake done due to the insane acceleration of the Corolla but he got a penalty for track limits and I simply had to sit within the penalty range to take the win.
The American Le Manās series is the most frustrating I have done in a long time.
AI routinely punts me off at nearly every corner. Mostly coming in 30-40kmh faster than I can, but also straight up pushing me off the track in straight sections.
I cannot match the PI the AI has in the same car. The car in first ends up 8 seconds ahead of second my the end of the first lap.
Finally, tyre wear needs to be 1x. Get rid of 4 and 6x entirely.
The only real positive is the race lengths were good.
Yeah, that race in American Le Mans Series at Sebring was confusing. The game suggested that Iāll need to do 1 pit-stop with wet tires and full fuel tank, so I considered taking fuel only for 4 laps. However, I had only āminor tire wearā at the end of the race after all and no pit-stop was required.
Endurance races in career mode need to inform the player about rules and conditions more clearly.
I had a terrible experience in the American Le Mans series.
The opener at Sebring, in the rain, was positively the worst FM event Iāve driven. The AI cars had a wet tire pace that was easily 1 minute per lap faster than I could manage. And when I was getting lapped (happened twice), the AI would just ram my car off the track. Dry line finally began to appear (sort of) around lap 4, and my pace picked up. By lap 7 rain stopped, and I was able to keep general pace with the near cars. I know Iām bad, but wow.
The second event at Road America⦠I could keep pace, but playing on a wheel, my arms were tired as nearly every corner seemed to need fast, full-lock wheel rotation to keep up corner speed with the AI. My arms/shoulders were shot after 5 lap of this. And I have physical endurance easily to run hour long GT3 events in ACC.
So I switched to a control pad, so I could do the thumb stick. This was 100% easier. I guess the game limits the steering input on controller, so when the stick is just going side-to-side full swing in corners, it comes out right. No idea.
Only problem with the stick was the high speed straights. Iād keep making the mistake of trying to make a minor, hair adjustment to my line on the straight, and get into a ātwitch spinā.
I eventually just quit.
Yes our own engine sound should always come from the center speaker while in chasecam and while in cockpit it should also come from the center speaker if the engine is in the front part of the car and from the rear speakers if itās a center or rear engine car.
In FH5 the engine sound comes from the center speaker in chase cam. I canāt really remember how it is in cockpit view. But the soundmix is better there, that is for sure.
I believe Nick and Mike are working hard to redo the carsā sounds in surround channels. We will see results trickling down into the game with each update but it will take time.
The lack of proper 5.1/7.1 according to the engine and exhaust placement is a major issue in the game, and this is one reason why youāre hearing such weak and lacking sounds in cockpit and first person views.
Iām positive, however, they will address this with practically every car in the game. They are already working quite hard from what I can tell to ensure that additional cars released in the game get proper sound, the Fords and others in the last two updates are a testament to that. AND, Iām certain we will get really great sounds for the existing cars that have been reported.
McLaren P1 - please give us the proper turbo and off-throttle coasting sound for that glorious machine!
Caught up with the monthās content finally, gave the exorcist a spin, and holy yacht, it might be the worst stock/base tune car Iāve ever driven in any FM game ever. The lack of turn-in and massive understeer is even more jarring coming from R-class right before it.
Good update overall this month, though I still dream of a time when these featured tours all end up permanently in the builders cup.
I actually thought it handled pretty good considering its weight, had a good blast around Maple Valley with it.I didnt notice the massive understeer but everyone drives different, each to there own though.
Yup
This just in: NASCAR in the multiplayer stays with us for longer
Awesome! Will the players stick around too?
SweedishThunder approves of an extended period of American Thunder!
Single player American Thunder Tour.
Bad, just bad.
Sorry but I hated everything, except Nascar and that seemed a chore on some tracks.
The A.I. is way too fast, drives like a train on a track.
Do tires even matter in the wet? Not for the A.I.?
Forza A.I in well matched cars is not fun at all.
Enjoyed mid engine and Mustang month a lot
I know I am not The FASTEST but Forza A.I. make me the FURIOUS.
I appreciate all the changes and fixes but please do us lowly single players a favour and play test the tours.
Can you get 2 unicorn cars like the Hennesy if you do single player and the multiplayer events?
No you canāt.
Just check the challenges menu.
