Cars - Strange Brake light glow on all cars (1686406)

The developers have investigated this and determined this is by design. The glows are blooms used for making brake lights visible at distance and therefore, positioned roughly around center mass of the brakes geometry. The intent is to strike the balance between gameplay and render budgets. At the time of the closing this topic had 37 votes.

There’s absolutely zero “intent” besides looking like c… & absolutely no render budget savings at all. Given that the SOLUTION IS TO MAKE THEM FADE AWAY EARLIER ONCE THE GAMEPLAY CAM IS ROUGHLY 50 METERS AWAY FROM THE CARS I FRONT AND NOT 1 METER LIKE IT HAS BEEN SEEN LAUNCH !
