Steam won’t be the biggest platform for a primarily Xbox game on gamepass. I’ve no doubt it’s doing poorly on the numbers but I’d expect the Xbox numbers to vastly exceed Steam.
It’s true for a lot of games, Steam only represents a portion of players who have knowingly paid for their game - unlike the Xbox sphere where a portion purchased their game, and another plays it through Gamepass rental.
The pure values of SteamDB are of no interest, since they represent a tiny part of the community (maybe around 1/15 or 1/20 of buyers)
However, the trends observed on a panel of 1000 players can, one assumes, hold true over a wider range
This is only to support something that we already know to admit: the slow and inevitable decline of the game
Until… ?
Almost all of peoples I saw also ratings (I know deleted ratings from Microsoft Store) from Steam. For gameplays on YouTube too. Almost all ratings and gameplays coming from there. They are close. XBOX not biggest nor the smaller. Almost equal. Or Gamepass a bit higher for gamepass games.
Declining continues as we saw on Steam playercount. Especially after last update…
Yes and yes… and did you miss anything? Probably. I need to go over the list a few more times.
yes

Ginetta G40 Junior moved to Forza Touring Cars Division to Forza Specials Division.
I would like the car you are currently using to be the default when you go to both paint and upgrade menus. It is incredibly frustrating that each time you go to these that you have to scroll all the way to reselect the car. Either have a current car slot the same as the manufacturers or just go into upgrades/paint/race the same as previous games.
It honestly seems like the Devs want to make the game as unpleasant to play as possible.
Honestly this is up there with the “sooner rather than later” changes I want… The menus don’t flow or function nearly as good as some of the older Forzas
This shoukd really be a 9.25 update. Followed one week later by a 9.5 update. Like that’ll ever happen!
None of these were addressed in Update 9, so I’m copying my list for Update 10.
I feel less silly opening this thread early. Update 9.0 disappoints on the bug fixes, or rather the lack thereof.
This aged well…
At the rate of bug fixes and introduced content, it might take months to get a substantial update.
I see we now have a tyre wear multiplier for Career races, which I don’t think was there before this update. Sadly, it shows as locked in the current featured tour. Hopefully this will be unlocked for the new Update 9 events but, if not, really hope that it is on the list for update 10.
I don’t think we’ll get a track in update 10.0. I say next track is for update 11.0. We might get a layout or 2 with update 10.0.
1.) Force feedback rework (it’s really bad on DD wheels and settings are overly convoluted)
2.) Private multiplayer improvements - Add practice/qualifying, and the ability to fill grid with drivatars
Just those 2 things would be a game changer for me
I think you’re right about the track. But I don’t know about the extra layouts. I don’t know what they plan on changing in update 10. They won’t talk to us.
We can look at the shub and thub and see what “WE THE PLAYERS” have voted up that we want changed. But that doesn’t seem to make it past the “no promises” department.
The “no promises” department must be the biggest part of the T10 team.
Maple valley has a full reverse from FM7 for example.
