Update 10.0

Weather is so predictable. I don’t know why we would need it. For both SP and MP. For SP in Free Play, you set the weather to variable and you will know it’s wet from the start. For MP, the same. Unless it’s a long event and it doesn’t show how the weather is going to be.

New aero Wings ? :eyes::eyes:

Starting on Wednesday, July 10, players will download the first part which includes the new car and event content, as well as minor improvements to Hockenheim and Catalunya, additional aero wings, and Replay UI changes.
This will be followed by a second download – release timing to be confirmed as soon as details are available – that includes the remaining features and fixes for Update 10.

So what I’m understanding from this, there’s only one new car and no new track… New wings, that is a nice addition (one of the highest voted features), but that’s it in terms of content?

EDIT: I misunderstood it, should be read as “the new car content and the new event content”.

I am happy if it fixes the stability problems.

So tomorrow we will receive update 9.1 with new car and event content.
The real update 10 will arrive next week (we hope).

Anybody still hoping for anything meaningful is delusional. It’s been crystal clear nearly since day one that Turn10 is going the way of the Dodo.

there are two updates one after the other

I think “the new car and event content” could be understood as “the new car content and the new event content” both of which could feature multiple cars and events. I’m pretty sure this far there has always been at least 2 new cars per update, one for the featured tour prize, and one for the open tour prize. Would be super weird if they suddenly stopped doing that.

Even then, basically, it sounds like the bare minimum from every update. Now if it’s a bunch of wings for most of the cars, I’ll take it. If it’s three wings and a half for like ten cars, yeah, that’ll be not a lot of content.

Thank you for pointing this out. If you put it like this it makes more sense.
I hope the car content isn’t just 2 new reward cars but also some new spotlight cars like they did in previous updates (but not 9.0).

I haven’t tried the single-player tour mode yet and I don’t even plan to do it. We want more circuits and improvements added for multiplayer mode!

Two part update and no mention of a new track. I don’t know how to feel about this one.

I just hope for more multi-class event for SP, they were pretty fun and challenging, navigate through slower cars always gonna have me engaged in doing more of it. Fingers crossed the car (or new cars) are worthy (and race specs, I’m gonna lose interest in doing anything if the cars are not track cars.)

Yeah but it doesn’t take 36 minutes to copy-paste a tweet on their own website.

It’s been well documented that Twitter views count are absolutely bogus.

I’m going to be honest here: i want forza motorsport to add GT3 & prototype cars only. These are the cars i want the most.

Their social manager and community manager are not the same person. I’m sure Max will get to it once he starts work for the day.

This very much felt like it was a reactive and unplanned announcement, I assume the reason the update was split in two was because there was some critical bug added/discovered through whatever the second part of the update changes.

As for the first part, they basically had a hard deadline as in-game events were expiring and they (presumably) have no fallback coded in.

Ok, based on the cover car & track, i think this time the theme is: modern muscle cars. Maybe ford mustang 2024 will come?

Can you link me to some of this documentation please? Preferably from 2024.
