I work until after midnight so idk if it came out the 20th or the 21st, but there was a unannounced update for Horizon 4 (about 2gb) when I got and my big question (hoping Turn 10 see this) is why wasn’t there a post on the Community Stream on Xbox? There is a whole tab devoted for publishers/developers to post news for updates/fixes.
Why can the post things about streams and random pictures but not warn players about downtime/updates? Alot of people still don’t have good enough Internet to download things and have to plan out when they’re going to good Internet to update/download.

Everybody can’t watch the stream because some people have jobs, some people don’t have good enough Internet to watch the streams or some/most people don’t know when it’s going on.
I fall into the not good enough Internet to stream (cause I use my phone as a hotspot and ever since upgrading from 20gb per month to unlimited I went from 25-50 mbps to 1-400kbps) and I have a job so I can’t watch the stream when it comes on.
I hate to be that guy, but like I said, the whole reason of the community stream tab on Xbox One is for people to get updated when fixes/updates/changes happens to a game. Fortnite now gives 2-4 days notice before its next update and it has been around for about 1/5 as long as Forza.
All I ask is when an update is going to come out, also notify people on the community stream.
The problem of me not being able to play today could’ve easily been resolved if I was warned earlier.
Instead of sitting here for over 16+ hours waiting for the 2.0GB> update, I could’ve gone to good internet? Had it done in about 1-3 min and been on my way doing the Daily Forzathon Challenges to get my weekly bonus.
If I can’t update before the season ends, this will be the 3rd I’ve missed out in the extra Forzathon points because of no one posting in the community stream.
You can #UseWhatGivenToYou and solve the problem yourself, once and for all. Or you can continue complaining and depending on others to warn you every time something similar happens.

You apparently use this forum, so use this forum for your source of information. I do, I don’t do any of the other services, yet somehow I still was able to see that an update is coming.
And since you missed recent info about this, I’ll just go ahead and alert you that the first expansion pack drops mid December.
