Unbeatable A.I are unbelievably slow... yet their Lap times are up to 26 seconds faster?

^^^ this was an Endurance event against the A.I on Unbeatable and they were incredibly inconsistent and slow, i had one of the fastest cars on the grid and the best handling car on the grid and although i won with ease because the A.I are kind of braindead, they still somehow had a faster lap than me. this is the issue… on this one turn… they would all miss it every single time… miss the checkpoint… respawn and still go 11 seconds faster per lap, ‘apparently’ lol what?
so i am Faster everywhere on the track, they crash and respawn which probably takes about 15 seconds but they are still 11 seconds faster… so why didn’t they beat me? so they do 1:45:000, if they didn’t keep making the same mistake and taking an extra 15 seconds, take that away from their fastest lap time and theoretically they are doing 1:30:000 lap times… 26 seconds faster than me? Excuse me? XD on other sim racers, an Actual F1 driver is no faster than 1,6 seconds faster than me. but some Bot is? XD haha imagine Michael Schumacher getting smashed by a Bot in a car with a trash set up? XD sorry but this game is stupid, so I’ve been playing sim racers for 16 years and have multiple years of league racing experience but i’m getting learn’t by a Bot? hahahaha OK

i just thought i would share this cos this is the worst I’ve ever seen it and i thought it was hilarious XD 26 seconds per lap faster than me even after stacking it every lap, did you notice the car that is an entire Class below as well, that would be like me setting a lap time in a LMP2 and my time getting beat by someone is GT3-AM XD just not gonna happen is it? LOL

I’m 26 Seconds off the pace??? but i won… hmm? something doesn’t quite add up XD

Yet another typical forza race, nothing to see here.

But did you know that when you are not seing those AI drivers they never make that mistake where they miss checkpoint. So this topic is just pure clickbait.

well i did see them miss the checkpoint, its a double hairpin, so coming back around you can see on the mini map that they all completely come off course
in your case that would make the fact they are 11 seconds faster a lap true… which is simply impossible as i won the race. so your point is false and invalid

not clickbait

Like your image show it’s possible, that race is abaout 20 laps so one 11 seconds faster lap dont mean nothing (other than this game AI is terrible) And what really hurts me is people compare FH all the time sim racing games when even nfs is better game to compare.

And clickbait, yes, there is allready many topics abaout AI being unrealisticly fast and seconly you mention 26 second when you can only show AI being 11s faster.

Not really, the AI have put in insane lap times aganst me as well. I suspect they teleport closer to you at some point to give the appearence of a fair race.
It could be intentional simply due to people exploiting the route creator to beat unbeatable AI for events.
Like you said, them points we design to screw them up only seem to work when we can see the AI.
Even on the regular courses where the AI do mess up, they tend to take it perfectly when you can’t see them.
I believe that is where the insane lap times come from.
I’ve left them behind like they were in park in some corners, but by the end of the race I always have one or two hot on my bumper.
I also notice that the slightest mistake on your part and they csn pick up 5 seconds on you whee a human would maybe gain a half second. Let’s say a drift tap for instance, normally no big deal, but AI seem to gain excessively on you.
I don’t care much myself, it’s more of a challenge anyway, but it dies indeed happen.

I created my own Freeroam Rush test route called Freeroamotorway. If you take the best route, you get to the motorway in about 50 seconds, then pile down there to the finish in another approx 70 secs. However, when I created it, I had no idea what the best route was, so the driving line sends the drivatars along a crazy route. I’ve tried driving along behind them, and they get stuck on rocks, trees etc, I think it took them something like 3.5 minutes to finish it when I drove along a little behind the fastest drivatar. However, if I take the fastest route and do it in 2 minutes, then the drivatars complete their crazy route in 2.5 minutes, something like that, a time that is utterly impossible to achieve along that route.

So yes, you can make silly things happen, but it typically doesn’t matter all that much. It doesn’t matter to me whether I only beat them by 30 seconds when I should beat them by 90 seconds.

The AI will make up for mistakes by essentially respawning ahead. The game attempts to make the unbeatable AI competitive with you no matter what rules of physics it breaks. In some cases that means hatchbacks cars driving impossibly fast to keep up with your hypercar. Sometimes the AI cannot make some turns at pace with player and end up in the woods, it will then ignore checkpoints entirely and respawn way ahead of their pace in order to stay competitive (this is when they have the impossible lap times).

Yea I like to do circuits (hollyrood and bamburgh coast) and I typically put it on 5-10 laps and boy ohhhh boy do those drivatars post LUDICROUS lap times. Easily top 1% in the world lap times (I’ve literally checked) even had a guy in A class focus post what would have been the 13th fastest lap in the world on rivals A class. IN A FOCUS! Drivatars were the worst thing to ever happen to Forza, you can’t change my mind.
