Hey, I don’t know if you even still remember this post. I’m also having a frame pacing issue with Horizon 5 in particular. No other game seems to have this issue. No one seems to be bringing this issue to light, either. It’s driving me crazy.
Someone told me it was because my FPS wasn’t matched with my monitor’s refresh rate. I tried to do that, but that also did not work. I tried capping my FPS and that also did not work. Restarted the game, my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled, even did a clean reinstall of my GPU drivers. The issue still persists.
My FPS isn’t low, either. In ultrawide 1440p, I get well over 120+ FPS in the game at ultra settings, so my GPU can definitely handle it. I tried looking into the frame time graph which shows that the frame time is consistent. My 1% lows are good. I tried V-Sync which didn’t help, either.
I don’t know what it is. I’ve tried everything I could think of to troubleshoot this. No other game has this issue. It’s just Forza. I don’t know if this is something to do with the game’s engine or something to do with my monitor. No one seems to know how to fix it.
It may seem like a minor issue, but it’s kind of off-putting to see a game look this choppy even at 120+ FPS. It has to be a frame pacing issue.
It only seems to happen whenever I either back out of the game to use Discord or any other application. I always make sure there are no applications running in the background. Even if there were, all my other games wouldn’t stutter like this.
Anyways, I’m sorry if this is too much for you to read. I just wanted to get this out there. I was just wondering if you managed to find a fix for this because so far, I haven’t.

Today, after I went online to work on some liveries, I returned to Free Roam and found that I couldn’t connect to Horizon Life. I’ve confirmed that my internet connection provided by my ISP is working normally, and I haven’t been banned. I also tried the methods provided in the ‘Multiplayer, Online, and Network Connection Troubleshooting’ guide, but I still can’t connect to the servers.
Horizon Life is disabled for me too

Been about 24 hours now. I’m actually a little surprised how little traffic there is in this thread.

Honestly, there should be a server status update on the socials whenever it’s down.
I’ve been unable to play online on PC - Windows 11 23H2 for the last two days. Fingers crossed it’ll be resolved by the season change tomorrow.
Same for me and also on pc.
Seems to be working now.

Im Locked out from Forza Live as well. Was never told why? Just keeps says server down Retry or Solo Forza…
It’s either “just you” or it’s back up and running again now.
I’m getting the " there was an error communicating with the server" thing now too. Auctions still work, zero ban history 
same thing here, sent a ticket to the support site and still awaiting a proper response/fix. No ban history, the game can reach the servers just fine, but can’t play with other players
It is happening again today.
I wonder if this is always going to happen on the last day of the season.
Because if so, it is not going to be possible to complete the last spring day accolade which requires playing eliminator.
I want to sell my cars and earn some money, but my auction house and forzathon doesnt work at all, the button is grey and when i press it says : Forza Horizon 5 server is unavailable
But online works good.

What cars arw you selling? For surtain cars i will pay alot and trades also
first boot yesterday, same thing, no eventlab names, various “online” things failed, others worked, restarting game sorted it out but it shouldn’t really be like that
