I bought FH2 digitally yesterday, downloaded the game and went to play it this morning.
There seems to be a mandatory update which is constantly failing.
I’ve tried doing a hard reset on my Xbox. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the game, same problem.
The only way I can play the game is to take the console offline, however, as soon as I put it back online the game tries to update and it fails.
Does anyone have any ideas which I might have not thought of to get the game to work?
Does it actually say it failed, or does it just keep syncing? if it seems too sync forever that means it’s not done yet and you need to just let if finish…could take well over an hour to finish the sync
It says the update has failed. Gives me the option to try again or check my connection.
Might want to uninstall and reinstall ur content if you have went through the reboot process
As I said in my initial post, I’ve already deleted and re-downloaded the game. Both times I’m getting the same error when I try and update.
have you rebooted your network equipment?
Yes, rebooted my router and at the advice of Xbox support on Twitter I’ve completely unplugged my Xbox for 5 minutes.
