Unable to Enter Game After Update

I updated Forza this morning, and when it finished I opened the game. Once I click the “PRESS A TO START” the screen freezes but the loading symbol still spins. The first time it happened I let it “load” for about 10 minutes. Then I quit the game and shut down my Xbox. Did it about 3 times total. Nothing works.

EDIT: If you reset your Xbox the problems go away.

Good thing I checked here first, I’m updating now so I’ll just reset the Xbox when it’s done to avoid the problems.
They should include a disclaimer upfront about these kinds of issues. It’s no big deal having to reset, it just sux going through the headache when a simple notice could avoid it.
