I have been a Forza fan FOREVER, and I always want the best possible version of the game and I was wondering, Can you only get the Forza Motorsport 6 Ultimate Edition though Xbox or can you Pre-Order it though Gamestop. All help is appreciated!!!

I would LOVE to see a Physical Ultimate/LCE Forza 6 for some wierd reason i cant really explain i just like having the physical disc/case. But unfortunately I think its highly unlikely : ( I just really want to know if I can get it at GameStop.
It doesn’t look like the ultimate edition is going to be much of a discount over buying it all individually anyway tbh.
You’d probably save about $25 dollars. Base game will be $60, Car Pass (estimating) about $40, VIP about $20, and maybe the Fast and Furious Pack about $5, which would add up to about $125 vs $100 for Ultimate Edition. Maybe the VIP pass will be discounted 50% for all Forza 5 and/or Forza Horizon VIP holders, so that would bring the savings down to only $15. No matter how you look at it, not exactly significant savings by buying the Ultimate edition.

Not at this time. Remember though, these days the digital pre orders come out a lot sooner than any physical pre orders. As it gets closer to launch, they might announce an LCE or Ultimate edition hard copy. But as of right now, there is only the digital versions.
Man I hope so. I was really looking forward to a great 10th anniversary LCE

Dont get your hopes up. T10 seem to be quite the masters of giving with one hand and taking away with the other these days.
I’m buying the best physical copy that is released. Even if its standard, I’m fine with that. I’m just thrilled that its coming out so soon. Also, there’s so, so much content from the beginning anyway. I cant wait.
I really want Ultimate but also want a disc. I have discs and cartridges back to the 2600 and collect games, and it’s hard to say twenty years from now " and here’s Forza Motorsport 6" when it exists only as data on a hard drive somewhere.
I hope they don’t forget about those of us who have bought every limited edition of the game to date. Those cases are almost like badges of honor for some of us. I want one more to add to my collection.

I’ve never had an LCE of any game before but considering Forza is my favorite franchise and it’s their 10th anniversary, I would more than likely buy it if it was worth it.
Yeah include some good trinkets since its the 10th Anniversary.I hope they announce it later after they get all the digital preorders out the way. I’m sure the retailers would post it up on their website as soon as they get a sku. This is the one time you should make a LCE or ultimate hard copy edition. They should include like a small version of the Ford GT as a collectors item. Anyways hope we get some word of this in the coming months. Only problem is you can’t play it 5 days early like the digital ultimate version. I don’t know if I can wait knowing others are playing it before me that’s gonna be a hard pill to swallow for me at least.

I really hope the pre-order isn’t only through the Microsoft store for the because I really want to get the Hellcat that GameStop is offering. I ended up just putting 5 dollars down on the standard over there in hope that they may end up offering the ultimate and just upgrading it from there. If not I will probably just cancel the pre-order and just get the ultimate through the xbox store and wait a couple months for the pre-order bonus car pack that they will offer down the line.

I don’t suggest buying physical ever.
The developers earn more through digital downloads since it’s direct payment and you don’t have to share profits with stores, manufacturing, shipping and some other things. So digital buys only Microsoft and Turn 10 gets paid more when someone buys a digital download for Forza.
I might by wrong with somethings on who gets paid, but that’s the big picture.
