I was updating my wheel and now the led light doesnt come on and my laptop is saying there is no driver for the bootloader even i updated in a month ago to v47. The motor hums and there is no burning smell. It doesnt do anything when i hook it up to the xbox either.
I got my Tx last night. It did one calibration spin around and stopped and never did anything ever again. It worked for a total of 10 seconds. Now it just makes a little humming noise occasional. Can’t get it work on pc or xbox one. I’m starting to think the thing is dead.
Got mine today. Hooked it to my PC first to do the updates and it lasted about a minute. Now it is dead, PC doesn’t see it and none of the lights are lit. I am not missing a power button of some kind are I? The manual just says to plug in the power cord and plug in the USB. I get nothing doing that.
Hi,
Try disconnect the DIN cable (the round adapter) and connect it again.
Maybe it helps.
Sounds like all three have a bad base. I used to have the TX and my first base started doing the same thing. I would plug it in and it would act as if it wanted to calibrate and then just nothing. No light or anything. I contacted Thrustmaster and after about two weeks of run around with them and being in the US and them in France, I finally was able to have them send me a new base and it worked great up until I sold it. My second wheel base came with an external power brick and I really think that’s the problem with most of the failures is that most of the TX wheel bases have the internal power supply. So my advice, contact Thrustmaster and have them send you a new base. Good luck
FEDEX just dropped the replacement wheel off here at my office. Here’s to keeping my fingers crossed that this one will work.
