Hi Turn 10,
I think the public players have listed well more than enough issues for your team to getting on with.
There is enough content now to let people get a good blast .
Maybe stop with the content release as silly progress markers(green boxes).
There is a mass exodus from the game surely you guys get access to server numbers?
Lets get the game correct, I myself as a VIP purchaser of the game, log in on update day and see maybe if you do some work that’s not on release notes but sadly not.
Why not go and speak to the Dev’s on Patreon who clearly work for contract work and get them onboard, their already gained knowledge will boost the game exponentially, plus still works with your silly employment methods.
Similar happens in my industry and yes young blood is cheaper, but pay some guys and in less than 6 months you could have a decent SIM.
Even better go speak to the guys who set up racing servers for free!!! I’m sure if you threw a few dollars their way they could again give invaluable experience and even possibly reward them for their ratings systems and implement.
Does it require a monthly sub to keep these things working??
And final word if you are just doing a Horizon extension let us know now simple statement with update 7.0.
“Guys we are experiencing great difficulty in creating a motorsport simulator and will be focusing our efforts to merge with Horizon”
Otherwise I hope you guys can sort this and give the title you promised
all the best guys
Yes they know the issues of the game, i don’t think it’s the number of employees that is the problem. It’s the quality of them, quantity < quality. They need to hire them longterm and not abuse this horrible 18-6 contract system. And the game isn’t a simulation it never will be, it’s a simcade. And that is perfectly fine, that is the reason i play it. If i wanted to play a sim, i would play other games.
They need to fix stability, performance, menus, graphics, sound, AI, stop doing FOMO stuff and keep all the builders cup and recommended cups in the game permanently. They can’t put FOMO into a game that barely has any content, they can do that after it ALREADY HAS enough content maybe after 2 years or something, but not in the beginning. Adding content and then removing it again, is just bad for the game if there is barely any content to begin with.
They are not listening. these forums highlight a pattern of not listening over the years. Oddly enough it correlates with the gradual decline in product quality.
And not one aspect of the game is high quality.
Functional reliability/stability.
Graphics.
Audio.
Penalties.
AI.
UI/UX/QoL
…etc.
It’s a mess across the board.
