We’re on Update 12 and still, I haven’t found a reason why Turn 10 is adding 2 cars every month or hasn’t explained it to us… Isn’t there even a reason why that is? This whole 2 car update nonsense is making the players more disappointed.

Because it takes time to add cars and that’s about all the bandwidth they have?
Also, Update 11 came with 3 cars, and it wasn’t the only one. Actually, Update 12 has 3 new cars, though you could call it 2 and a half with the Jordan Camaro being a modded Camaro.
Many could say “but two cars is more than zero, be grateful for what you got”, and while mathematically two is a bigger number than zero, in Forza Motorsport these amounts feel almost identical, especially when the new cars aren’t new at all. At this point they could just bring in cars from previous games as Spotlight Cars, and then actual new cars for Tour Rewards. Some more time would need to be put into modifying the models for FM, but I’m sure that, since all of the cars that appear in both FM and FH5 use the exact same 3D models, except for only the Impreza 22B. This means that (most likely) no scanning is involved.

I don’t want to say I’m disappointed, because I’m always expecting race cars to be added but in reality it is kinda unsustainable. So I understand the picks for this update.
I’m mostly looking forward for the new features and whatever it’s happening online.
These 2 new cars are meh to me.
2 actually new and one recycled from Motorsport 4… If they can import models from an Xbox 360 game, it shouldn’t be too hard to import models from Xbox One games.
As for Update 12, the Artura is imported from FH5, and the Huracan Evo Spyder is surprisingly a 50% new car, because FH5 and FM already feature the Coupe. And the Camaro is just a bodykit

Yes, I was in fact not accounting for it. Still, they could import more models beforehand, then work on the physics, and bring those cars in amounts above 2, or even above 4.
Yes. But the cars are purely copy n pasted between motorsport n horizon. Do u know that? If u ever open those archives u will get to know that the only difference is in the serial no of the cars…n that’s also a simple text file…thats all…so this adding of two cars per week n sometimes old cars included is just pure nonsense.

A car from Forza Horizon 5, a car that’s already in FM but now with a convertible top, and a bodykit for a car from Forza Motorsport 1.

I know that there is only one new car in this update n thats the evo spyder…u all should mention this way…stop considering the cars which are already in other forza titles as new ones…n u all should stop treating them as masters…they’re just our servers…we pay them…they don’t let us play these games for free…it’s time to show them their actual place…otherwise they keep playing with us like this…

What about cars recycled from previous games? Surely if they just use the same models, which they have done for cars that date back to even the first Forza Motorsport from 2005, it’s going to take much less time, right?
with different game engines porting is odd. It still takes time.

The file structure is just the same as fh5…swap some fh5 car archive files with fm ones…they will run without any error…so don’t believe everything they tell u blindly.
GT4 has 3 cars… they didn’t add any cars to that division too which is crazy

Officially gt4 has only 1 car if my memory serves me correctly rn which is the ginetta gt4. There r many more proper gt4 spec cars like artura gt4,nissan z gt4, emira gt4, jag svr gt4 n so on…they need to focus on bringing them rather some nonsense!!
