Okay so ill start by saying I personally love the drifting in Horizon, i find it quite fun. Ive been drifting since fm4 (with the exception of horizon 1). But even someone who has been around could always use some help. So I got a problem. In just about every drift car ive built thus far, Ive been able to drift fine, except for one little problem i cant seem to work out. So drifting to the left (around a left turn or sweeper) is just fine, Great angle, speed what not. But drifting to the right I cant get the car to feel comfortable. It gets fidgety, wants to spin, etc. I feel like im always fighting it. Why I can drift to the left with just ease and struggle to the right baffles me. Ive never had this problem in any previous forza’s. Not sure if its a camber, toe, suspension issue or what. If anyone could lend a hand as to why this would be the case i would be more than grateful.
Out of all the things that I have read about tuning problems, this is definitely a unique one.
Firstly, the car shouldn’t have any problem what so ever, it might just be mental thing/misjudging right corners or it might just be a road surface issue. T10 made it so that the tune is symmetrical to both sides of the car and that the only way to make the car behave like what you are describing it is if the road surface was uneven. I’ll give you my Alignment, Spring rates and Dampening just to see if this is any different:
(NOTE: All measurements in imperial, so mp/h and so forth)
Alignment:
Front Camber: -2.8
Rear Camber: -0.1
Front Toe: 0.3
Rear Toe: -0.3
Caster: 7.0
Springs:
Front: 548.5
Rear: 375
Dampening:
Front Rebound: 7.0
Rear Rebound: 5.5
Front Bump: 4.2
Rear Bump: 4.2
