So this week I’ve dedicated to running the LC500 in S class and tonight it did not start well. Brutal first 3 races. 6th to 13th, then 4th to 8th, and then 7th to 10th. In my defense it seems to be improving lol.
One of the things I’m hating is the 9 speed gear box. I just feel like I’m ripping tires like crazy in the first 3-5 gears and im just wondering…
Would i be missing out on very much performance if i just ignored 2-3 gears and treated it like a 6-7 speed? I feel like it would make my life simpler.
I don’t use TCS and never will no matter how awful it makes me haha. It probably doesn’t help that I’ve turbo charged this thing into a rocket. I wonder if it would help if i dropped the turbo. That will probably be my go to if dropping gears isn’t advisable.
I pass with ease on straights, but from mid corner onward until 4th-6th gear im just overheating tires. Maybe AWD would help?
