Tuning Fix in Today's Content Update

Hi all,

With today’s content update for Forza Motorsport 5, we’ve made an important improvement to the tuning feature in the game. Specifically, we have fixed an issue where downloaded tuning files were not applying front suspension settings to cars when racing.

Today’s content issue fixes this issue; as a result, when you download a new tune for a car, the front suspension settings will set correctly. Players will need to re-download previous tunes in order to for this change to take effect. Note that this fix applies only to tunes you have downloaded – if you have created tunes yourself and applied them to your car when racing, the settings are working as intended.

Did this issue only apply to when applying tunes while on track?

Say if I downloaded a tune and applied it in the menus, should I be ok?

If you downloaded a tune at all please reload it. I wouldnt take the chance and think its ok because 99% of the time it isnt correct

Have maxed my tune download limit (as have many)…is there any way to delete them all in one go?
ie, from game save?
So can make a fresh start. Rather than doing them individually?

I just looked and couldn’t find it. it’s going to be time consuming but well worth it.

No. The only option that would achieve that would wipe all saved game files as far as I know ie progress, paints, tunes etc

looool so all these tunes I’ve downloaded and thought were good have just been running standard uprated sus?

mainly just the front has been wrong… tire pressure, sway bars and springs lol

hahaaa… so is everybody in this game then lol… people love other peoples tunes and its only half correct… there will be some new competitors on the leaderboards here very shortly!
