Has anyone else experienced this? I have since Forza 5… When I’m browsing tunes to download, after about the 10th listed tune I get what’s shown below. The next 20 tunes will look this way, no information except the description. then for maybe the next 8 tunes information does show up but all of the information is wrong. Once I click the tune to download it then the correct PI, speed, handling etc. numbers show up. After these 8 or so errant information tunes, then the next 20 will be as the image shows. No information. It’s become an absolute crapshoot to download a tune.
I’d also like a way to sort results by popularity or rating. Right now you can only get results by date (most recent first) which means that unless you know exactly what you’re looking for you’ll probably not find it naturally.
Yes!!! Dear god, yes! This should be a no-brainer addition and would make finding good tunes infinitely easier. The system we have now is just plain stupid.
It always a good practice to follow the tuners you like. This way theirs will show up first. If you are unsure how to follow when you are on the page as the screen shot above select “Y” for creator options. One of the option will be to follow the creator.
what i dont understand is why sometimes in the suggested tunes section i can get to the first 8-10 or so tunes and can’t get to the rest. sometimes after racing awhile i can get to all the tunes offered up.
Actually its absolutely horrible. Again, it makes it nearly impossible to find a tune. And the fact that Turn 10 is satisfied with designed features simply not working is the worst part. How do you carry over an error this bad from one version to another. I don’t get it.
This was discussed in FM5 and nothing was done to make searching for paints and tunes any easier this go around.
I’m sure the system works great when there is only a handful of shared items for a car, but we all know browsing through 1,000 or so files isn’t ideal. I’d venture to guess they assume the filters we can apply make things easier…but they don’t.
The whole sharefront thing…I kind of stand back in amazement at how bad it is. This glitch it particular is so dumb. What was wrong with being able to view a persons storefront like Forza 4? It was a million times better.
Yes this is hard to believe Turn 10 thinks this is acceptable! It’s been this way for 2 games now and finding good paint is a real hassle too, so I don’t bother even painting anymore and shouldn’t bother sharing tunes either.
Plus why is it when you change a tune and re-share it you have to fill out the whole thing again! It should keep your previous info then allow you to edit it if needed. The whole thing is poorly implemented IMO.
That’s what I can’t understand either. Ok it was terrible in FM5 and there were loads of complaints. Now when it’s time to develop FM6 Turn 10 looks at it and basically says, “yeah that’s how we want it”. It’s just mind boggling at the level of ineptitude by them.
