Hey guys, I’m going to start this here while we wait for the Tuner’s Lounge to finish construction. I hear it’s going to be a beautiful new facility in the world of Forza 6.
I’ll organize my shared tunes by class. On occasion I may open source a tune or two for you guys. If you have any requests for a particular car feel free to leave a polite post informing me of (1) the car, (2) the class, & (3) the drive type. Please know that I do also have a life and career outside of Forza and may not be able to get to your request right away. I will try to handle all the requests if I am able but I reserve the right to decline.
I don’t have too many tunes out there yet, but I am working on it and this list is sure to grow.
If you use my tunes and you enjoy it, please don’t forget to like so I can get paid.

A lot of these cars came AWD or for the upper class I put them there. I will be doing RWD as well since this is track racing and I don’t need a catch-all-for-the-unexpected-Horizon tune. These are for the most part tunes that are on the cars you can pick for free at the beginning of the game. I will also be putting each one of those into a max C Class build so you can use whichever one you took and apply my tune at the earliest stage possible for qualifiers and the first Story of Motorsport.
I have that problem with my eyesight and the tiny text in game. I’ve made a request in e Features Wishlist thread to bump the font size a bit but one can only hope. I have changed the Thread Title
I hope you enjoy the tuns and they do you well. So far these are a general multi-use build and nothing too track specific.
As of right now, these are not open source tunes so the list does not link to the open source thread. There are multiple ways to access these cars:
(1) While in the upgrade menu of the game, press the search button and search for my gamertag while in the corresponding car
(2) While in the upgrade menu, press the button to tune - then search for my gamertag while in the car
(3) From the Tune menu, select Tune Car and search for my gamertag while in the car.
I will also go back and add the file name to each listed car so you can search by that as well. (Changed my mind, no I won’t. )To find the tune you must be in the car the tune is for.
Yes, generally I will set the tire pressure to 28.0 on every car. This is a good general multi-use build tip but I may change it depending on vehicle and if I’m tuning for a specific environment that requires a change.
Another tip is to realize where certain cars come from when you approach the build and tune. Think about this: most production street cars are designed to understeer to some degree. VAG, with the exception of Porsche, does this a lot while others do it less. You have to think about this when you tune a bit, so even if you don’t get deep into tuning you can do this - take the ARB settings for the front and rear and switch them so that the lower value is on front and the higher value is on the rear. You will immediately notice a change and I tend to like that change.
MEDIC 1,
First did you find PPiDrive’s tune,
and second this is exactly why I prefer Forza over Project Cars even with better FFB ( if any ) I can search for a tune for a track from a specific gamer, choose it and load it and race all done in 30 seconds. Project cars it was changing all the FFB settings for that car and then loading all the settings on the car, copying them into each spot in the game, taking probably 15 to 30 minutes. Plus in Forza you can save multiple set ups for each track if you want. ( a hot lap tune and a racing tune with better handling ) project cars is 1 per track. The tune aspect is far more valuable to me in Forza than any increase in FFB Project Cars may give me over what Forza gives me already gives. This is why I am a Fanboy as you called me very early in our conversations. LOL
Thread updated with all of the cars that you can choose for free. There is a build for each one at the top of C Class which you drive at the beginning and some have been also put into other classes.
It’s a pretty fun car to drive. I went out and raced it again - I’m still at a point in this game where I’m unsure of myself all the time. I’m not changing things on the car as much as I’m trying to make sure I’m driving the best I can before I make more tweaks. That said, I do really like the A Class GT86 and it doesn’t really feel like it’s an AWD car so I guess that’s good.

I will have a 2017 Ford GT build/tune coming soon. I’ve started working on it for the ERS Tuning Competition and when I’ve got it somewhere to where I like it, I will share it.
I must say I really like driving in this game though. The Ford GT is such a blast to drive and it’s so easy to drive well. I can’t wait to jump behind the wheel of some of the other supercars and race cars. I really enjoy driving the lower classes but these high end cars may be a welcome surprise.
Next tunes to come - Lotus E23, Corvette C7.R, BMW 2002
That E23 is tough to drive fast and well. Definitely more so than the E21 from FM5 - you have to be very careful with your inputs. Can’t wait to keep practicing with it because I know it will be very rewarding.
Mods - can you please move this to the Tuner’s Lounge. I would greatly appreciate it.
Mods - Thank you
Hey guys,
I did a lot assistance or collaboration if you will with Joetben15 in return for his assistance and lessons in the paint booth. To help get his tunes out, and as a thank you, I have posted his tunes that I have helped with in my thread as well. Give them a spin, check them out, and most of all - have fun!
I have always loved the racing Corvettes and the new C7.R is no exception. It’s an amazing race car and very fun to drive. It would be amazing to use if Free Play had a better option set up to make truly custom races. The only bummer about this car - you cannot upgrade it to the top of it’s class. I don’t think that ought to be a problem for it but only your racing skills will tell.
So tunes for the C7.R, BMW 2002 Turbo, and Lotus E23 are all up and shared.
As I finish the paint job I’m working on for the Bentley GT3 I will get a tune shared as well. In the meantime, look for cars to use online in multiplayer and leagues across the classes. I’ll probably have a BMW saloon in there, maybe a Nissan of sorts, and some rides to fill out that CBAS range.
Hey Drive, good stuff as always; I tried out a lot of your tunes in Forza Horizon 2 so I’ll likely be back for more.
I’ve got one question you might be able to answer however: is there a way to “sort” the results of a tuning search?
I have found that when searching for paints you can press X to sort them by popularity, but I don’t see a similar option for tunes, leaving me with “Recommended” (which shows all calsses) and “Most recent” which is for when I search).
