I don’t know if you can sort the tunes you see for the car but you can definitely search by Location, Ribbon, Keyword 1, Keyword 2, CREATOR, or description.

Since FM5 the developers have definitely taken the stance that painters and painting is far more valuable and cared after than tuning. The paint menus were not changed much and still function rather well but going through tunes for vehicles has been made more difficult.

My least favorite is that you used to be able to search for designs and tunes and could find results regardless of the car you were in and now you can’t. Remember when you could go to tunes and search for a gamertag and see all the tunes that person has created? Now you need to know which cars they have tuned because you cannot see the file unless you are in that specific car - same with paints, it’s really a bummer.

you have 2 Lotus Formula one set up but I cant see for what tracks?

That’s odd. I thought I only had one shared and even then - I doubt how good it is. I have to test drive RelaxedPRKids because he says it’s really good, then I have to try to make mine better.

I want to tune one version of the E23 for assisted driving - using TCS - and one version for no assists.

I think the reason there is no track specified is because it may just be a pretty poor base tune. When I get on later this afternoon/evening I will take a look at the Lotus’ and see about fixing the information on the shared files.

You were right, I had two shared. I deleted them both.

I then went and and re-tuned the car. I used TCS ON as my only assist and went until I felt like I could control the car as a general base tune. Nothing track specific yet.

Hopefully this is a good tune for you and you like it, I would be greatly appreciative if you (or anyone) would be willing to provide feedback. Let me know what assists you are using and what you think about the car.

Wow, hit the wrong button and there goes my post. Let’s try this again:

I haven’t really been keeping up with the tunes, and more particularly, this thread as I’ve been busier. I’ve been taking my free time to go through career mode - rather slowly - and haven’t even done as many of the leagues as I’d like. That said, I do have some new cars to share so I’ll list them here from memory and then update the main post on page 1 next time I get on.

I’d like to thank the folks over at ERS and DUST2DEATH for their pointers, their assistance, and sharing their knowledge with me after the tuning competitions I entered. The help has been most useful and I believe it’s made my cars much, much better.

For now, here are some of the new cars I know I have shared:

— career oriented Corvette Z06. I think there is a grip build and a sort of middle of the line, semi speed build that I used for career. Both are set at S750 because that’s the limitation. While I think a pure speed build would be useful for some of the career tracks on the harder difficulties, I am fining having taken 2nd place and will rather focus my efforts on a maxed out S800 Z06 because I really like the car. Look for that in the near future but for now, sorry, all I have is that S750 stuff.

— a top of class S class and top of class A class Ferrari F50

— a career oriented McLaren F1

— Using the advice and lessons I’ve received, I have redone the Ford GT from the tuning comp. Since it had low downloads and uses I reshared the file. For those that ran it during the ERS Tuning Comp 1.0 I’d love to hear feedback on the new version.

That’s all I can remember without booting up the game for now.

I’d also like to thank all of you who use my tunes. My Lotus E23 is over 75 uses now and it is my single, most used car. I’m actually surprised that of all my shared tunes this one has been used the most. I’d love to see one of my tunes get over 100 uses and I wish it were on a car I actually liked the tune and felt confident with but I’ll take it on the E23 as well :slight_smile:

I am now working towards the Platinum Badges for having my tunes used 1000 times an having (I believe) 25 tunes rated 5 stars. Thank you for helping me get there guys.

Well finally have got to try a tune of yours- I’ve been off busy with real life and finally had the chance to get on xbox. And my connection was good enough to get in a leagues lobby so your e23 got a descent amount of uses from me this weekend.

It’s a very nice overall base tune. I’m no great X class driver but I moved up to #200 in the league with your car. I was always around podium or managed a podium before trying another tune to try and catch the top dog of. Lobby. Out of the three tunes. I tried. I was most consistent in yours.

I’ve noticed a lot of a people enjoying that car, I’m not a huge fan. Perhaps I simply need to turn on TCS when I drive it…

Working on a D Class Alfa GTA that needs “MOAR POWER”! Look for it soon - right now it’s so grippy and underpowered I can’t roll it out of the garage.
