Can anyone help me tune my DBS I have it upgraded to a 700 and my handling pretty much maxed out along with braking, but no matter how much I feather the throttle my back end always gives out on turns unless I shift up and lose all acceleration out of the turn and it kills my lap time. Any suggestions would be awesome thanks.
Post all your settings, will help to see where the problem is.
- Stiff rear spring tends to make corner exits slippery.
- Stiff rear bump damping also does the same. You can use stiff rear springs if rear bump damping is low enough.
- Differential could be too HIGH.
- Trigger happy.
If not #4, I usually suspect #2, #3, then #1. Good luck.
Stiff rear arb will do the same.
Murderous has a real nice tune. And I can share what I was doing for the a class ENDURO races that GRD and I were in. I’m not much for being able to tune.
I found the Dbs to be a bit difficult with TCS off. And it really taught me brake early roll in and accelerate on apex.
When I get home I can share the build and tune with you. It’s not the best (like from a great tuner) but I do pretty good with it.
What is you diff accel set at. I want to say I was around 30 ish ?
Well this thread has been dead a while, but here is my build and tune OS - any comment and feed back is welcome. If someone can come up with better ARB and dampening it would be nice to share back with me.
The car did pretty good for me in the series and it took LeMans on the schedule to go less aero which I stuck with as it gave the car a lot more usable top end. the accel diff is to high I would imagine for running with out TCS (probably better around 25% but I’m not running it anymore so I haven;t tried… I’ve had the suspension set lower prior and it likes it around here for my driving style.
When doing slower turns try out one higher gear , I did a lot of turns in 3rd that I would be in 2nd in another car, it really taught ,me to be patient slow in fast out pays huge dividends in lap times for my level. I’ve gotten 4-6 top 500 times in races which isn;t the easiest thing in A class and I’m not a fast guy (slow compared to the fast guys - but; fast but touchable to the vast majority of players that are serious about the game. If your a n00b I’m fast but after you caught up to me you have another 2-4 seconds or more to go to catch the really fast guys.
Anyways here is what I was running with if anyone would like to improve or comment I’d more then welcome it. It it works for you great glad to help out, if it doesn’t sorry and play with it til you like it. Its a really nice car to run (pleasant on the ears sound wise - does well in class, its not a F50 though I have taken out quite a few of them

I just slapped a tune for that Build together and at least at Bernese Alps Club it gave me significant faster times and at least for me is generally easier to drive.

I should credit Roadrunner for that Tune as I mainly took over the settings from his A700 Chevrolet Corvette Tune which work pretty well here too it seems.
I’m interested to here how you feel about those settings.

Front camber seems low. Accell dif seems way to high. try adjusting those and see if u improve. im willing to guess u do. Put the camber around 3.5 front, and put the dif around 35% and try that.
Each person drives different but i do agree with cow… I would also raise ur front sway to at least 10 and make ur springs both around 700. I tied ur tune and the front end was way to wobbly and the rear would keep rolling over with those low springs making cornering very treacherous. Try camber at 9.5/ 10.5 and 2.5/ 4.5.
U get that dbs top 50 at spa yet Johnson?
