This game is officially shelved. Lock cars behind 160 points. None of the high-point challenges even work.
A year and nothing has been done to fix this. But god forbid people get some wheelspins easily. Alert the media.

I force close the game so that quick resume shuts down after playing every week.
Turned it on, did the Trial, then the Puma race. It notified me that the treasure chest was unlocked.
But it never appeared as an icon on the map and nothing was at the location in the airfield. Cut my losses and then switched to the Nissan for the weekly. Nothing popped. Bought another one. Nothing. Restarted the game again, nothing.
The game didn’t shut down, idle, or anything like that during this time.
Forza 5 simply doesn’t work correctly. I’ve had maybe two seasons in the past year that something didn’t glitch out, and I’m only playing it one day a week.

Same here & I’ve never had an issue. Even posted info on how to complete it earlier.
So to clarify, when you say you shut it down: you go to the home XBOX menu, highlight FH5, select the game options, then “Quit” & then re-start the game correct?
PC here, haven’t had a glitchy treasure hunt for a while now

Rarely issues. This week first in a long time, Treasure Hunt snafu. XBox One.
Yes. I do that every Thursday when I’m done playing it.

It did not show up at first for me either. It did show after going to the Playlist the select the Treasure Hunt challenge which opens the map and there it was. After that it stayed visible.
Playing on xbox one.
Performed the criteria to unlock treasure. Pressed the button when prompted to show location. Map opened and… nothing.
Now if I go back later and click on the treasure hunt tile on the playlist screen, it just goes to a mostly empty map.
I’m still 2 treasure hunts away from the accolade. I don’t often have problems with these, but this is the 2nd or 3rd time it’s just not worked.

Yep, treasure hunt not working for me either this week. Completed task, message popped up, but then nothing on the map and playlist still shows treasure hunt as incomplete. Have completed race 3 times and have restarted console.
Like why is it so hard to get a simple game function to work?
I have this Treasure Hunt issue in Summer, but in Winter it is fine.
That’s what I did but in my case it did show up somewhere at the airfield. Rest of the map was indeed empty.
