Those packs were merely sponsored pack and the content probably had nothing to do with the hosts. If they make an actual event out of it, the content could be completely different from the above.
I know these are “Top Gear” packs, but I’d be really surprised if they were actually picked by Top Gear, then created for the game. I would say it’s more of Turn 10 saying, "Here are 30 cars we have ready to go, pick seven of them and if we agree with your picks, that’s your Top Gear pack.
But even looking at past Top Gear packs, thinking that the Top Gear team would pick the Hummer or the Chrysler 300 is laughable.
If I remember correctly, the FM5 car pass was extended. It was unexpected.
Maybe there could be another “State of the Forza Union” that might be delivered that might be able to resolve some hot topics right now, like wreckers, unicorns, and the growing sense of entitlement on this forum. An extension could be one of the things that could be resolved.
I remember that, it was a big deal considering how badly Forza Motorsport 5 was initially received.
Maybe we as a community could also write up a “State of the Union” as an open letter to Turn 10. Have a few well-known or highly successful racers, hotlappers, painters, tuners, photographers and drifters get together to draft up a letter outlining what is good and not-so-good about the current series direction.
That’d be great if they did. A few more track or car-track bundles that have a series connected to it like the Porsche Extension has done.
It was a true game within the game, so anything like that would be most welcomed indeed.
I agree re the cars, we have way more than enough, but done race specific vehicles would be welcomed, not those that 1) don’t fit into any existing race classes, and 2) that are complete wastes of time race wise, ie The Limo.!
Shadow I agree but doubt it. That would be a very nice surprise and Turn 10 does this kind of stuff for its customers now and then. I still don’t want to expect it or I will be disappointed if it’s wrong.
If it’s not free I will still buy it though.
I’ll be looking forward to any pack the team have to offer.
Sure, there’ll be many cars that don’t fit right with Forza fraternity, but many will be opposite.
The main thing will be that we all get a chance to experience different racing styles. The ultimate idea is for us to enjoy the game, the diversity it offers…
Let’s wait and see how and what Turn10 offer us via Top Gear’s sponsored pack. Plus, I think it’ll be the last of the Car Pass Packs.
