Browsing through the article on the TG website and stumbled across this…
Please just be careful with these cars, because we’re quite fond of them. We will reward such care, attention, and track prowess with a very special Top Gear Forza Motorsport 6 challenge, so stay tuned for more information.
Incoming unicorn? Please don’t put us up against Mr Harris!
Edit: just seen in the TG car pack thread about the California that appears to have been added…Maybe it will be a Top Gear KOTT
Top Gear Rivals events that will be appearing in the Community Monthly channel of Rivals. In the meantime, you can send them a friend request (GT: TopGearOfficial) and stay tuned for the event which kicks off next week.
OK so the TopGearOfficial account posted a screenshot and video clips of laps in the Project 7 with a lap time of 1:18.962 of course this means nothing but seems like it might be the first of the Top Gear themed rivals events
One interested thing is
“Oh, and there are no prizes for posting the fastest time, other than the pride of knowing you thrashed our resident TG gaming expert.”
There is your video. Funny how Im just enjoying everything there is in Forza. The amount of detail in the cars, the plethora of tracks, you name it, and this forum is just complaining literally about every single thing. Please, get a grip guys.
Well if your first justification is pretty, then you’re the gamer this game was designed for. Kinda surprised you don’t get the complaints after playing FM4.
Ah, yeah… Sorry mates. It’s stupid to vent off in here forums, I just had a bit too much negativism for the day I suppose…
Anyways, let’s have a good time with the challenge shall we!
It’s a tenth off but entirely representative of Top Gear’s current laptime. Also, no TCS, STM or ABS so whoever’s driving that lap knows how to play the game and isn’t just somebody picking it up for the first time. Wouldn’t be surprised if Chris Harris was behind the controller.
His latest laptime is 1:16.9xx for which no in game video is available, hence I agree with Sythe’s comment. AND I dont think he’s complaing, just stating a fact. If you dont like it, we take note.
Must add that after watching replays of the top times, I am indeed a bit confused on which way the track actually goes. Tried a few of the new boundaries myself, but got lost a few times.
