Top Gear DLC pack not working

Hello people,

I recently purchased a Xbox One bundle off Game. It came with a digital download code for Forza 5 GOTY. I redeemed my code and waited for it to completely download. I then went to purchase one of the cars included in the pack and it has to pay real world money for it. I checked the DLC pack in the in-game store and I still had to purchase it. I then checked the Xbox store and it was the same, I had to purchase it. Furthermore, the Top Gear DLC pack doesn’t appear under Forza 5 in the Games menu.

I contacted Game and they told me to go to Microsoft. I talked to Microsoft who said they have no power over DLC issues and suggested I contact Turn10. I’ve sent Turn10 an email and I am currently awaiting a reply.

Is there something I’m missing or haven’t done right?
I’m a little frustrated at this issue and would appreciate any and all help in this matter.

I have exactly the same problem. It’s supposed to be Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year but it is just standard Forza 5 when installed. All DLC like the Top Gear pack is not free and requires payment. No help from Game here either ;-(

Tell them it isn’t a DLC issue, its more like an Xbox Live Marketplace code issue. Right up their alley.

Hi I am having same problem too,had 3 different codes for goty edition from Game and all three only give me the standard edition.
I have contacted Microsoft and they confirm the codes are not for the goty edition but tell me they can’t do anything about it and that I need to contact Game which I have done and now I am waiting for Game to investigate the problem.
All I can do is wait I guess and hope they find the problem.

Same issue here too had 3 goty codes from Game all give standard edition also confirmed by Microsoft after they checked the codes for me now have 3 forza 5 standard edition licenses on my Xbox live account now.
Microsoft say they can’t do anything and tell me I have to contact Game about the issue,which I have done now I have to wait until Game investigate the matter further.

I had this problem and it’s a fault at GAME’s end.

I questioned GAME customer services over the phone and they gave me the DLC code with no questions asked.

They should have supplied you with two codes. One for the game and one for the Top Gear DLC.

Same issue here, how can they sell it as GOTY with free content advertised as included on the package then when you download all you get is the standard game… What a con

I also just purchased this game from Best Buy (I’m in the US) today and the salesperson assured me that it would have all the car packs and it still says I need to purchase them all. I don’t understand what’s going on. I tried to download the Top Gear car pack and got an error message. So I tried it again, still an error message and it won’t download. So I tried to look up the error message on Live.com only for it to say there was no such code found.

I’m at a loss.

When I downloaded fm5 I was able to download it as an add-on from the marketplace
