To the DEVS. Grinding gears even when clutch fully depressed.

So there are a couple of threads about this. I’m on PC with a G920. Gears will grind no matter what when driving with manual/clutch. tried everything, but it’s still doing it. Even at a full stop, with the clutch pedal fully pressed and showing 100%, going through gears will grind as if you missed them. And to those who love giving smart answers; yes, I know how to drive a manual, I also know how to play with manual. Doing it since FM6, FH3 and FM7 with no grinding.

My question is really if this problem will be fixed on release? I’m literally on the Xbox App ready to hit ‘Pre-order’ on the Ultimate Edition but I just don’t want this little detail ruin my enjoyment of what appears to be the best car enthusiast game ever created. Don’t feel like waiting months to see if this will be fixed. Already went through this cycle of pain with both FH3 and FM7.

My fix for same wheel on PC. In the game adjust the clutch dead zones so that the front or top one has no more than 1-2 degrees and the rear or back set at around 60 or 70 degrees. This will assure the clutch fully engages before you shift, avoiding the grinding gear noise/damage. And it works on all the Forza PC games. Hope that helps.

Thank you. I remember this happened in FH3, but I was able to adjust the deadlines and fix it. I will try your setting when I get home.
