3 words. End of life.
Buy something else.

This kind of shows the state of mind where triple-A gaming and live services brought us to. This game is not like Fortnite or Apex Legends or whatever game as a service one plays. Just because the developers are not providing any new feature updates and patches does not mean the game is unplayable. At least on the Xbox One the game is still working very well including the online modes and people can still purchase the game. The single player modes are working fine even though the AI is somewhat questionable. 10-20 years ago when you bought a game in most cases you could assume that the game will work in the future even after the developers stopped supporting it. There are people still playing Diablo 2, Star Craft, Halo, Resident Evil 4, Counter-Strike, etc.

Yea. That’s a good point. I should have said more to explain.
There’s a lot to be desired but by now no hope of improvements to match other titles. There are other games, some even older, which are better. If you are into F1go for F1 2019. if you like rally - Dirt Rally 2. FM7 has rally cars but nowhere to drive them. If you like an all around competent race SIM do PC2. Sadly, FM7 will disappoint (other than graphics of coursee)
There’s hasn’t been any updates for PC2 for some time now so I guess it’s EOL for it too but it’s still one of finest Sims out there. EOL is not end of game if the game is properly good. FM7 sadly isn’t.

In my opionion Forza Motorsport 7 is a still a fun game even though the AI is not satisfying and the Force Feedback on racing wheels feels a bit awkward. I enjoy the visual style, the car and content variety and options the game has to offer. I agree that Project CARS 2 is better regarding the driving mechanics and also the AI, but you can still have fun with both games as long as you don’t take Forza Motorsport 7 too seriously.
