hello I wanted to ask a important question should I get forza 7 the main problem I have that is keep me away is the Physics does it has the same physics as forza horizon because when I played forza 6 I couldn’t even make it pass the frist turn and I just gave up and sold the game it was not fun and I don’t want to buy a wheel to enjoy myself I want to enjoy a racing with lots of cars and for me to have fun and enjoy myself and since forza 7 has so many cars and some that I will enjoy very much I hope the I would be able to have fun
UPDATE:::thank you guys I decided to get the game all you guys Cheering me on to give it a try I played the demo and I now know the basics and I can get pass the corners easy I’m going to buy it and I will not stop playing until I’m a pro
The physics are improved from forza 6 but they are the motorsport physics, which are closer to being sim physics than the horizon physics. If you take the time to learn the physics you’ll find that the motorsport games can be enjoyable even on controller. You just need to practice and learn the physics.
No the game has far too many bugs and issues right now. Wait at least 3 months and return to see if they are fixed.
Many many players have already gotten refunds because of how bad it is.
Edit: Btw this game has a 2 star rating right now, that should speak for itself.

If you are on the PC I would say that its not worth purchasing just yet due to the memory leak issue and the crashes to desktop. If you like playing online you wont be able to do even 2 races in a row before the game crashes to your desktop. All of the other issues aren’t really issues if you cant even play the game due to crashes and to be hones the game is super fun when it works
Just hold off for a week and see what happens with the next patch. As DELIMON 007 has pointed out there are a few bugs and getting used to the physics might quickly become a secondary issue for ya. IMO it is a good game with some frustrating elements to be ironed out ASAP. I have ordered a wheel/pedal set but the genuine MS controller has served me well and actually exceeded my expectations for what it was.
I would hold off a patch or two, let T10 try and fix the game.
I disagree… the game is enjoyable for the single player mode. Mine is anyway… no crashes and plenty of credits running long races.
The questions is will you enjoy the more difficult physics vs Forza Horizon ??? Have you played FN3? Is so do you play without using driving assist? If you drive without assist in FN/FH3 then you can learn FM7 sing the TC and Stability assist… and eventually you’ll gradually get better. It’s if you enjoy a challenge or if you prefer to just play arcade driving games. If you do… check out Mario Carts…LOL
Horizon and Motorsports are two different games though they share the same car models and such. Horizon being an arcade racer and Motorsports being a simulator requiring more skill then the more casually skilled Horizon.
With that said you sound like more of a casual player so with that, I would say it depends which mode you like to play.
If you like the career more, I would say yes. FM7 has very easy settings you can play it on. So easy you really only have to hold down the throttle and the car will brake and steer itself through the whole race. You can adjust it so you have more control till it feels good for you and your skill level.
If multi-player is more your thing I would have to say no. Unless you’re going to take the time to really learn how to drive cause those easier settings will slow you down and you wouldn’t have a chance at all in even keeping up with the skilled drivers. Probably never even finishing races cause they will be so far ahead you’ll never make it to the end after the timer starts once the person in first place crosses the finish line.
If you want it for both career and multi-player then I’d say maybe. Career is fun with a lot of races and I would say it has a very good replay value. As in multi-player I think you just won’t be competitive enough to enjoy it.
One more thing I’ll add is the PC thing like some have said above me. Though I’m playing on Xbox One S without much trouble except for an occasional crash that has only happened to me in the menus and not during a race, I’ve heard all the problems the PC’ers are having to where it’s either nearly unplayable to truly unplayable. Even if they have monster powered comps. I have to agree with them with all I heard so if you’re going to buy it and buy it for PC definitely wait till the problems are fixed.

Regarding physics. Many of stock cars needs tuning, before they are drive-able. This can be confused to the physics as well. With good tuning car is more predictable and controllable. With stock car you can spin out easily and think that what a bad physics this game has. So either you need to do some basic tuning yourself (there is some learning curve involved) or download popular one (the easy way). On top of that there is those different assistants, which can be turned on. Eg. personally I drive with “breaking lines on”, since I don’t know all tracks that well. I would spend my time off-road otherwise mostly.

Jesus people, all he asked was if the physics are the same.
Yes, it has pretty much the same physics as Forza 6. Don’t buy the game if you can’t handle it.

Lol thank you ya for the support
Buy this game with close eyes! Believe me!!!
I’m 52 and play onboard cockpit view, all assists off with a controller, Xbox-One. I can’t get close to my lap times lol in 3rd person view.
Trust me this Game ROCKS physics wise !!!
You just need to learn the tracks, and maybe start with a few assists on like TCS and STM. Once you have some time on the game gradually remove assists once you are getting up to speed and you will be fine.
Don’t let people put you off. The game will get fixed and on XB1 is completely playable in career and online now.
Like any game it just takes time to master
