TIRES hasn't grip

Hi, I’ve played a lot of simulation games and I’ve noticed that tire grip needs to be increased on forza motorsport.
I have made comparisons with other more simulative tyre models and paradoxically on forza motorsport the grip is very low. The feeling of floating is always present. Driving on forza motorsport is more complicated than simulators.

Depends of which tires you have. Race tires are pretty grippy. Thats about it. Street tires are not made to race with.

The physics of FM and accordingly the grip of the tires are extremely scalable. This is influenced by the setup mode you drive, which assistance is on or off, what type of tires you use, and tuning matters a lot.

The physics of FM are very good, the feel of the cars is perfect. It’s just a matter of individual settings.

I’ve noticed this too, to the point where I avoid playing on a wheel because I’m concerned it’ll affect my performance on other sim titles. I play a lot of iRacing, along with other sims such as AC and LMU. It almost seem like the tires in Forza are placed in a freezer and never warm up :joy:

completely agreed with you. I’m playing occasionally on forza for the same reason. If the developers icrease the friction of the asphalt or the grip of the tires, a lot of players come back on forza. Is incredible how many people think that this game has a good physics. For me tires and dampers needs an adjustment

No, isn’t a question of tires. Here on forza there isn’t the friction beetween asphalt and tires. Every car (also with race tires soft) floating corner by corner.

A good physics, make better this game beacause the gameplay paradoxly could be better and easyer.

A lot of people leave this game only for this reason

Completely disagreed, there is not friction beetween the asphalt and the tires.

It’s not a question of configuration, i made over 360 setup on this game and every car has always the same problem.

Have you ever tryed with the same car, with the same power and weight to drive in different game?

Only, and I said only in forza motorsport there is always a floating effect.

I totally disagree. I’m talking about the tuning experience of nearly a thousand hours of multiplayer competition. FM8 has the best car-to-asphalt contact I’ve ever felt in a racing game. Absolutely remarkable! We are not the same.

1000 hours only on forza motorsport.

Now I can understand, you are only a fan that defend the game everywere and everytime.

I believe that if the developers change the tyre model you will afraid to remake every setup.

Bit this game is undrivable

goodbye

Funny, but many people love this game precisely because of its physics. I know of many cases where Forza is chosen instead of GT7, and there are more and more examples of this. I have come across several competitive tunings where you have to pay a lot of attention to management and the steering wheel needs to be handled precisely, and the effect is very good, the car glides lifelike. At the same time, it is possible to do a much tighter tuning. It’s multifaceted. These things are all a matter of tuning. Nearly a thousand hour because i enjoy the game driving modell and many people too.

It’s very strange spend 1000h only for manage the setup in a simcade.

try to compare how many people leave this game and how many people love this game.

I come here after years and years of ACC, Rfactor2 and iracing only for a different exeprience.

This game has not a good physics, because i try others game more realistics than FM.

You have played only on forza.
Maybe with a boat this game is good.

I would have to agree with others about this. It really depends on your setup. I have cars like C8 Z06 that with one tune I can shift from a car on rails to a drift missile. You have to tune your cars to your style of driving.

Many people also hate this game because of the physics. You can’t talk for everyone.

Honestly I can tell you that I had the same issue before but once I understood that you need to set up every car you drive to have the perfect perf setup.
I agree we need to understand that all your car are undrivable out of the box that’s why you have to set up your each and every car. To give you an example I couldn’t drive in FM 8 so I get back to FM 7 the grip was better in the beginning but the AI is a disaster so I got back to FM 8 and tried to do all of them not to be honest with you I’m having a lot of fun
