Tire Pressure Tuning

I just noticed a cool little “exploit” to the game regarding the tire pressure, well not so much exploit more a loophole I suppose.
If you use the English system as 90% of the world does, you’ll be changing the tire pressure in regards to PSI. In Forza the tire pressure goes up in increments of 0.5 PSI, for example, one may have their car set up at 28.5, 29.0 or 29.5 PSI. Well from testing, I’ve noticed that when the tires hot, after around 2 or 3 laps, the optimum tire pressure seems o be around 33.3 PSI. Unfortunately it’s hard to hit that number when using 0.5 increments. However when tuning the car, if you switch the HUD to the metric system and bump the tire pressure slider up by one increment, then switch it back to the English system, you will see that the pressure has gone to 28.6 PSI or something like that. It’s just a far more efficient and effective way to tune and really find that peak tire pressure if you do it this way. It rally helps in dialing in the right pressure for the track.

Hope this helps, if it’s confusing ask any questions and I’ll try to explain better. Hope this helps.

On PC you can also use the mouse to change slider, you can be more accurate that way instead of 0.5s

That’s great but if I only play on the Xbox that does not help me. I am not a PC person due to lack of PC skills…and equipment LOL

Well the method in my original post was for Xbox not PC. I probably should have specified, but I didn’t think it’d be any different.
