Hi everyone.
I like most have a wheel to play Forza however this is my first Forza game ever and wheel to that matter so to say I’m excited is an understatement.
I have been using the wheel for AC and Project Cars via my PC and all working without a hitch.
I have installed the Xbox One X and got Forza working, I plug the base in and the wheel spins left and right and back to centre, so all looking promising.
I go into the “Devices” menu on the Xbox and the wheel isn’t there, I go into the “Controller” section on Forza 7 and nothing there apart from button layouts for the Xbox controller.
I’ve updated the firmware and drivers for the base on a PC and the testing program on the PC shows it works…but still nothing.
I have no idea what to do and as yet, still not been able to play this game!
Any advice or help would be hugely appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Heywoodcraig
That’s odd - the only thing I do different is turn on the xbox x, plug in the wheel (it calibrates) then log in, launch Forza and all good
My TX has never shown up and it works just fine in all Forzas.
With my TX, I have always been in the Xbox Dashboard, unplug (or turn off) the controller, plug in the TX. It will do the recognition turns.
Then I push the accelerator down completely three times, and repeat three times on the brake pedal to calibrate it.
I navigate to the FM7 listing, us the “A” button (watch your hands, it will center the TX wheel) to access the game.
Once you’re in FM7, navigate the main menu to PROGRESS and enter Options. The left column says “CONTROLLER” but once you select it, the menu items will be WHEEL OPTIONS. General settings are on the first tab, then use X for Advanced settings.
Hi,
I have the same issue since yesterday using the Xbox X.
The wheel is recognized in the Dashboard, it calibrates, and I can start Forza7 pressing the A button on the wheel.
But ingame the wheel does not work. In the options only the controller is shown.
When waiting inside the game until screensaver mode, pressing the A button again works on the wheel, but then no further action is possible.
I don’t know if it is an One X problem, or a Forza 7, or a TX wheel problem.
I have played the game with the wheel one week ago, on the first Xbox 500GB, the old Forza 7 Version and the TX wheel with older firmware. (.50 as far as I remind)
Can anyone help me?
Thanks and kind regards
