Looking like the 65 Mini is the early leader in the C Class Ghost League on most tracks.
I don’t think those can be raced online. The glitched out RX3 and 81 Fiesta appear most often I found. It took a while to find a lobby where glitch cars weren’t being used.
I’ve been using a RX3 with downloaded tune but I don’t know how the glitch works or if I’m even using it or not, just saw this car was doing well so gave it a try.
Check out the support sub forum. The exploit is discussed in there. The most used RX3 tune is literally labelled that it is glitched.
Last I checked, most of the top 10 in pinnacle are using the RX3, and there’s a well known hotlapper in the top 20 doing the same. I was thrilled to be in the top 5, but I don’t think that’ll last long. Lol.
Thanks for the info swerve, if I’d known about the glitch i would’ve given the car a miss. Turns the tune I’m running isn’t glitches it’s no where near quick enough. Lol
lol, that should be fixed in the patch tomorrow hopefully.
Raced in some V8 supercars last night. I’m in pinnacle and man was the competition tough. I finished 8th in the rain at Brands Hatch my first outing, then 1st at Silverstone, then 16th at Laguna after a big mistake on the 1st lap for me. Then 4th at Daytona, and 6th I think in my last race. All of us were usually within 1 second of each other. Makes the starts ever so important, you don’t have time to mess around if you want to win a race. Still the racing was super clean for the most part, and very very close. Enjoying this aspect for sure.
Does anyone know how the point their works? Is it about coming first or is there more to it than that? Eh lap time and cleanness
Can anyone make some suggestions for V8 Supercar and tune? I struggle with the faster cars to get the power down without spinning up the wheels so would like a forgiving tune if at all possible.

I plan on using this for the shorter tracks; I haven’t found a decent car yet for high speed circuits in C so I’ll have to do some searching/testing.

Use my Olds 442. It performed well against Cosmos and RX3’s
A c1 Corvette or 69 Mustang worked well too for the tracks with really long straights. I saw S2000s keeping up well too.
I did 10 races this evening, 8 of them in the above car. Overall the results were good, but the lack of top end does hurt. Still though, I’ve got a good benchmark for when I start building up another C Class car now. Best laps and results below:

44th in Pinnacle with 7600 points, not a bad start.
The most popular car in the Hopper was the Mazda RX3 although only 2-3 were running it per race. There was a 97 Civic posting great times on most tracks, FWD surprisingly.
I’m happy with how the NISMO is doing but I’ll need to assemble a second car to take on the less grip-intensive tracks.
FWD is always good for a civic; especially a 97. The 97 will be able to set top 20s when the glitched cars are fixed.

Thanks for posting this; I started doing leagues last week with the P-Class Ghost league and I must say I like them!
C class ghost is a good opportunity to go hardcore. I’m a little bit slower but after a few sessions I’m put in slower lobbies so it’s all a wash. I end up racing for the same positions as before and it’s more fun to do it by looking at the track and feeling the FFB.
I also turned off the HUD so I have no distractions. The shifting is easy if you stick with the same car through the session and know the gears.
My S2000 is in B currently but I might toy about with a C tune and see what I can get out of it; thanks for the tip.
I posted a C-Class 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA if anyone is interested. I ran it last night and it was out front almost everywhere. Very good overall car, easy to drive, good balance between speed and grip. Hope you enjoy!

I have a couple of great tunes:
All first place cars (even against the dreaded Mazda RX3)
Top 1% leaderboards.
Mercedes 190E - Handling.
Fast and Furious Ford Escort 1600 - speed.
Renault Alpine - Great all rounder inc wet.
These cars are set up for the Tx wheel ( including all my other tunes ) but work great on the controller also.
Have to say having some great races in elite, all have been close and fun.

After last night’s races I took the IDx NISMO around Rio Full again, and managed to set a Top 20 laptime. I was expecting the uphill section to be a significant weakness but I guess the car’s cornering abilities more than made up for that.
I was in a lobby at one point with 6 Mazda RX3, it makes the racing so boring… you beat them through the corners, then the rocket propelled thing flies back past on the straights, its just pointless, i think i’m 27th in the rankings and i’m rated pinnacle but jees them mazdas are terrible… decided to tune a muscle care to keep with them on the speed tracks and the Trans Am 67 is great, it is faster than the fiesta everywhere, the mazda does beat it once it reaches 5th gear but not for long, i even tried the thing on Road America west and posted a 1.35 and that a pretty good track for handling cars… i suggest getting one of these things to keep on contention with the guys that can’t drive normal cars that aren’t glitched
