Wow r900. It will look really cool with all those formula cars and be fun. But it’s going to be chaos.

With rear tyres almost twice as wide as the fronts, these cars are very easy to drive. I would liken them to go-karts, albeit ones capable of 170mph.

The higher Divisions should provide some good racing. The lower Divisions will have crashes as typically anything A/700 and above is beyond the skill cap of a lot of players.

Should be fun!

Looking forward to this. Hopefully stable lobbies(finger crossed) debut to pinnacle (probably never win again )

I’m probably going to skip the 70s

I went though the last c class. But looking at leaderboards and I guess from the classic compact league. Looks like there are a lot of same e class cars.

I think I’ll be integra mostly - guess I should get a 97 Honda Civic though. I took EMW venoms to 56 overall at the Glen

Definitely going to give Pjs nismo a try.

Short track- grip cars I’ve tried are 94 Mazda mx (this thing was awesome) but lacked a tad bit of speed. Would crush in elite and lower for sure where consistency would help counter the the slightly faster cars.

Loved Rosny lancia fulvia. This may be my grip car
Also loved a grip integra. I actually used to beat Rosny time on hock short.

(I’ll add the tuners gamer tags when I get on to see them)

Any other suggestions: I’m definately trying swerve and other pontiacs.

These are great grippy cars. But you need a solid v8 car for the power tracks.

Been looking for some. But it seem the Honda Civic can match them in KEZZEN’s tune for the Glen.

Love a couple 73 trans am tunes and gto. But unless it’s a strictly speed track. It’s pretty rough.

Suggestions?

HarleikinSlayer’s Pontiac GTO Judge tune is great for power tracks. It’s a tiny bit slower on a couple of the all out speed tracks, but not by much. Easy to drive with no assists. Look for it on the Sebring leaderboard. I believe EMW Nobody put it pretty high up on the LB there, unless he has since beat that time with another car. I haven’t looked in a few weeks

I used that GTO tune at dayona infield daytime and put it 41st on the overall leaderbaord.

Good job man. That tune has to be one of the friendliest to drive power tunes I’ve ever tried.

I got in a few good 70’s GP races last night before the old lobby mass disconnect ruined it. :frowning:
Really hope that gets sorted soon. It’s getting incredibly frustrating.

2 laps round Nurburgring full, the 16 mile one, at night in 70s f1 cars with no lights. Really??

To add to that, 6 laps round spa at night too. Can’t see bugger all!

Spa at night in cars with no headlights? Really?

Actually, I think I could do Spa at night. Certain other tracks, not so much. Now all I need is a full lobby, a full 24-player Spa night race, nobody else knowing Spa all that well, and then start in 24th. That Thru the Pack achievement would be in the bag! lol

Edit: That said, I hope there’s some Rio in the rotation. I just took Lauda’s Ferrari to that track on the weekend for some Long Shots.

Yeaaah. Just had Sebring night come up in the rotation for 70’s F1. Came here to basically say the same thing as the above comments.

Voodoo, if you could remove night tracks from the rotation, it would be most appreciated. Thanks

As others have said, some of the night tracks need to be removed from the rotation. At the moment the only option is to hope everyone quits the race. Apart from this im enjoying the 70’s league this week.

I ran on Nighttime Bugatti circuit earlier in the 70sGP league. It was a little hairy at first, I admit.

I got 3rd out of 8 or so by looking at the mini-map in the really dark sections. I can imagine longer circuits would be a pain, but that one wasn’t too bad.

You chaps need to grow a pair. Racing wheel to wheel at 170mph with 5ft of visibility is how legends are made.

Who needs to SEE the track anyway? Overrated imo.
