Try the S2K Fast Furious edition. With a good tune it should be competitive against most of the Alfa and BAC users. I used this car last night and had plenty of podiums. Always a few LB guys I couldn’t catch even when using my BAC. Like they say in racing. …there’s always someone faster…lol
I still believe ghost league should be hot lap style, best clean lap wins. I would run it religiously if that were the case. But as it is its just a broken mess.
I agree. Would be better if it was in a sort of time trials mode where fastest clean lap wins. The way it is now encourages corner cutting.
I still play it though. Beats the crash fests in the collisions on lobbies. I’ve had a few great races in some collision on lobbies, but 95% of them have just been rage inducing piles of male bovine patties.
I tuned a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII for the rally league and the car is doing great. Tune can be found under my gamertag Breyzipp for those interested.
PS - I also tuned a 2015 WRX STI but don’t grab that one, the Lancer Evo is way better.
TN Eagle’s got a great 2015 WRX tune for speed tracks, it’s my go-to for anything with a big straight.
I ran a bunch of races in my Evo 6 but Eurolite’s is way better so I’ve reverted back to that.
Tonight’s session was pretty good in Pinnacle. There is one user who has earned a reputation for being the villain of Pinnacle (very dirty and disrespectful driver) but once he left things were pretty clean. A bunch of us were talking tunes and having battles towards the front and it was all good fun.
I climbed my way back up to 14th after dropping overnight; if I can stay in the Top 15 by the end that’ll be a great result.
I know how you feel PJ, I see the guy who is in 3rd place overall (as of right now) every day in the Rally Day Heros lobby and he is absolute trash. All he does is knock people off track and cut as many corners as he can.
While I would never condone or engage in rude driving while online, it is easy enough to see where someone may find it acceptable to drive like that. Every race that is not online in Forza is full of AI that brake checks and blocks you off your driving line. If you are not quick enough to brake or swerve out of the way, the AI wrecks abuse on you by mildly bashing your car or even punting you off the track. I try my best to not hit the AI, but if I slip up, they slam me. Even with Limit AI Aggression turned on.
Tonight’s session was pretty good; the lobby was full of familiar faces which guaranteed clean racing for the most part. By the end the majority of the Top 20 were in the same room, some very quick laptimes being posted.
I’ve now got a range of cars that I’m confident in using on most circuits, some of which are also competitive in the normal Hoppers too.
I’ve gotten what I want out of this week’s leagues, some good racing in Pinnacle and a few new cars for me to take to the general Hoppers.
Next week’s Leagues were announced on Twitter:
B-Class Ghost
Sport GT
Looking at the eligible cars for Sport GT I suspect it will be an S/800 PI cap. If that’s the case then expect to see the 2008 and 2013 Vipers towards the front of the field.
