This last update still didn’t get rid of the narrator on xbox version, sad part is you can’t even turn the narrator off. There’s no option inside the game and make it’s very annoying and kinda unplayable unless you turn your tv volume off.

Narrator? What does the narrator read out? menus?
I wasn’t aware of a narrator in game but the xbox console narrator can be turned off…

Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until it vibrates and you see power options.
Press the Menu button (on the right side of your controller) to turn off the Narrator. This shortcut is likely how you mistakenly enabled the Narrator in the first place.

Alternatively, you can also disable the Narrator through system settings:

Press the Xbox button to open the Guide and scroll over to the gear icon.
Select Settings, then pick the Ease of Access category.
Choose the Narrator panel, then toggle Narrator to off on the leftmost panel.

This could be really useful or completely useless depending on my interpretation of the problem.

Xbox Settings > Ease of Access > Game Transcription >Let games read to me. Uncheck it for no more voice

Literally you can’t turn it off and it’s not through the xbox narrator. Forza horizon 4’s narrator can not he turned off.

What narrator? I don’t recall ever hearing narration in game. There are various voiceover bits that aren’t narration, but none of them are pervasive enough to cry about them needing to be shut off. Perhaps you are referring to the gal who refers to the player by their chosen nickname and occasionally suggests tasks?

I finally fixed it, you have to go to ease of access and game transcription and tuen off all the speech stuff !

this is very stressful as the narrator will not turn off, please work on a fix as this as Forza 4 is one my favourite games!

this is so annoying!!! I can’t turn this narrator off!
I figured out that the same problem happens on gears of war 5

and if I run forza horizon 4 from my computer, the narrator is still there!

it is been more than a month that I can’t play forza because of this problem. I was an insider user, I removed myself from that program thinking that would solve the problem, but it still there!
