This game's endgame needs to improve

Actually if im not wrong, it show last route that you have share instead last route you have driven. But overall it’s really bad system that we have pretty mutch no control even our own blueprints who to **** think it’s good idea that player cant delete their own blueprints.

Nope, it is last route driven. Driven is how it shares. And that is the only one that will ever ever show up when searched, even for yourself.

Here is the story:

So I got all my tracks for the routecomps. I manage the blueprint five count before can overwrite thing easily enough, I can deal with that. But is the catch I never knew about before now since when I go to a spot, I got “My Events” all five, looking happy. The share and place holder, or perhaps a second track.

Well, in the route creator’s discord, one of the people mentioned that my “The Second Sally” wasn’t there. I was very confused. What was there was a quick route I did as a drivertar mechanics test. But I deleted that route. The blueprint was gone. But I had a few variants of Second Sally still there. Was just boggling my mind. I made new tracks with the default route, saved over all my second sally blueprints, then saved new blueprints with tracks.

No matter what I did, It only ever showed that test when I or anybody else ran a search. As a last attempt, I invited a friend to try and co-op, see if they could join. Well they could join so I was completely flubbergasted.

Today, was asked for more info on the bug report. Sent new info, and then for some reason went back there to search… Wait, it was now showing the correct track, but only one.

That is when I found it, it is showing the last of my blueprints I drove. Doesn’t matter about saving or making a new one. I drove it, then it would show.

So now effectively, many of my route creation locations are effectively under quarantine and answers a lot. When I would make a route for routecomp, I would make a few different blueprints as I test the different time and weather settings for what is nice. So when they have checked my routes? It probably wasn’t the one I submitted if I tried another setting later, even if I saved over it. I got some tracks with pretty decent likes.

Throwdown in Snow Down for example is at 2.5k likes. Not bad for a non farming/weekly event route. But it also means now, that route would disappear the instant I run any other blueprint. That goes for all the tracks in my championship forum post in the sig. Every single one of those start points now have to be on permanent quarantine from me in regards to ever creating another blueprint. I cannot touch them or else it will disappear from share. The local drive does not track that. Once gone, gone forever.

Double nauseating because I have a few tracks I have posted with multiple PI or cars depending on what I want to drive without the smorgasbord of anything goes. Prime examples are my “Copperhead Road” and “Roarin Roadsters Targa” which both have two different car sets variants. It also gets worse. Because I have noticed that my creative hub has two “Knights of the Round”

Very problematic for that one because I had created it at different start points in the past but didn’t like the routes. Blueprints I have deleted? Doesn’t matter, track is still there. So people search it, they get a big wad of garbage.

It just… boggles my mind… I cannot comprehend the logic that ever even conceived such a poorly done mechanic. I mean yeah, I knew route creator had some issues, but with some experience, they were no problems at all. But this? Why would you ever have the shares separate from the saves and never give a way to manually share? I just cannot figure it out at all. Just flabbergasted. Five save slots, but only one share and if you want to keep it shared you can never touch that start location again?

That sounds weird because after i saw your first post i tested this at two accounts with that difference that my blueprints are just basic horizon tracks, i drive event that i have share few months ago and in same track i made few weeks ago 5 lap tune testing blueprint, i then jump in my old account and look that race and it show that 5 lap tune testing blueprint instead of blueprint that i just drive 5 minutes ago. I will test this tomorrow more (or actually today after i have get some sleep first)

There is allready design flaws that come just making normal blueprints and how you can manage those but it’s get even worst in route creators as your example sadly shows. And also it’s yet another example how this game is not tested enough before publishing and even worst that many these kinda design flaws are still in the game after 5 months of launch.

TBH, I am right choked about how much this has limited me. After the issues with routecomp2 and complaints on this series community championships, I was looking to help and really get active a solid route creation community. Already limited by locked starting lines, I really dont know how to progress. I can give and help all who want it, but at same time, I am now really restricted already for my series 7 due to limited starts. A series 8 will be impossible.

I havent played in a couple of weeks now, I havent even bothered to do the XJ220 thing despite liking the car.

Theres just not much that interests me at the moment. I look at those seasonal things and its just +10m on a danger sign or race in a very very specific class and car type, usually rally, or S something. I dont believe i have ever seen an A or B class road circuit seasonal with appropriate cars - which is what i’d like to do. Adventure mode is pointless its just S cars its all i ever saw when i tried. S class cars are the realm of no skillers that sticky tape thier throttle triggers down. Just a frustrating waste of time.

There was even that thing with the playground games to win a car… i do not ever do the playground games. Capture the flag doesnt work with cars, none of them do its just a frustration fest.

FH3’s multiplayer racing isnt perfect but i found it better and at least it offered some minute element of player choice

I also like this game, but I strongly agree with you that this game needs to improve especially they need to do more work on graphics.

What is this a key point towards? No one else is talking about gambling?

I personally don’t care if people like you like to gamble. Throw away $100 for $50 back, go nuts. But don’t promote that Cr a p on a forum regarding a racing video game. It’s totally irrelevant. Go promote that garbage somewhere else.

Two years on and this is still my biggest gripe with the game. At the very least can PG just start using their ‘Editor Picks’ section? It’s been completely unused since day one despite being an ideal way to seek out quality content without relying on external sources.
