i got a pretty good setup, 16gb ram, gtx 1070, i5 6600k, but tempted to get horizon 3, tbh forza 6 apex kinda gets boring but i have played horizon 1 on xbox 360 so tempted to buy horizon 3, but it is so expensive - do u think the graphics area ton better? they look really great in screen shots - why did they make the graphics SOOO much better and how did they get them so good?
Just buy it. I am loving every minute of it so far and driving all different types of cars. There are 4 distinct areas to race in, providing great variety and great fun. I do play on Xbox though. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

GET IT, don’t hesitate, if you like driving in any level you’ll love it,
there are over 300 cars, 1000 lvls, and lots to do and easyily the best looking game for a long time.
The game is everything you’d expect from a Horizon series plus more! The music is a bit dull compared to the last two Horizons, but that notwithstanding, there is nothing in this game to dislike, except maybe the extremely aggressive nature of the drivatars !!!

The best demo and music too, IMO! FH2 was my first Horizon game and will always be a permanent install on my Xbox drive. It wasn’t as fan-focused as the first or third Horizon, but still, it was amazing. I think eventually they should just combine them all into one game with a world map that ports you from one game to the other.
I agree, go get it! Your rig can fully run it, also at 4k i presume but beware: Screenshots from this game are post processed pictures, and does only to some extend visualize the in-game graphic. On XB1 the difference is significant, but on PC the graphics could be the same as in a post processed photo mode 
But again, just go get it buddy!
Dont buy it until they release a patch that makes the game playable, your pc will struggle at anything above 30fps which will be blurry and slow, that guy saying 4k hah now thats a good one, the game as of now stutters and has heavy frame drops on PC so dont bother, and the pictures are nothing like in game graphics which look exactly the same as on the console.
The game is good, but until they fix the issues I wouldn’t buy it.

yeah … many problems as of now with the title . You have a chance that the game runs fine (like mine BEFORE the last patch) but also a chance that you cant download , bad performance , CTDs , Stutters , bad FFB and so on . I would wait till the game runs properly !!
The game is pretty fun, and you should be able to run a solid 60FPS on high in 1080p, you might not get ultra, the game is very hungry for GPU memory so having a 1070 will make it run well, I’m running a GTX980 and I get between 30-60 FPS in game, in the most straining part of the game (surfers paradise) I can get down to 27FPS occasionally. Most areas of the game i’m pushing 55 to 60FPS. The recent optimizations have made the game much more playable, and even if you can’t get ultra, the graphics are still very nice on high settings. Also just FYI MSAA will murder your framerate if you turn it up too high.
