Ah, FH3. What a beautiful game. A gorgeous map, a fire soundtrack, great variety in the car list, and fun race routes. This game never gets old. I know there are a lot of you here who haven’t gotten the chance to play this game yet. And even though it’s delisted, you can still get a physical copy of it.
Right now an Xbox One copy of the game is $19 on Amazon, which is an absolute bargain. For what you get in this game, even without DLC, I would HIGHLY recommend picking one up before the game shoots up in value. The series is somewhat on a downward spiral so the value of a beautiful racer with progression and a nice atmosphere is going to shoot up.
TL;DR - If you haven’t had the awesome experience of playing this game, get it while you still can for a reasonable price. In my opinion, this is the peak of the franchise.

I’m probably going to start this game on a fresh save in a few days. It’s been so long since I’ve played the full campaign of this game
Just recently bought a copy off ebay for £6. Just started playing this week and enjoying it so far. The map is much better than Mexico. Just a shame there is no way to get the expansions now, would have loved to have a go at Blizzard Mountain.
Wait, WAS FH3 RELISTED???!!! 0=
I think the colours were set the best in this game. Brushed aluminum looked like brushed aluminum and not a dull grey matte colour. Everything looks fresh and bright.
It was also the hardest FH I played (I only have FH3-FH5). Still haven’t finished it. Should get around to playing it again, there was a lot to do in FH3!

Got it a few weeks ago (PC key from G2A). Newest AMD Drivers broke a bunch of lighting (same thing happens with lightning in Fortune Island) and nahmic.exe causes crashes so you have to end the task before you launch it, and even then it still crashes far more often than the newer titles, but even then the vibe is incredible (I live in Australia), the soundtrack is great and the carlist is pretty good. I’ve only played around 10 hours but its already my favourite Horizon. Just a shame the only keys for DLC I see are $500+.

Hi - I just got a brand new RX 6950 XT and I am noticing that when I am in the “view car” screen, there’s a crazy graphical glitch with a bunch of black boxes popping up all over the place and distorted video/glitchy rendering. Sometimes also the far away scenery is dotted with black boxes.
This is a brand new GPU that appears to be functioning just fine in all other uses - do you think this issue is the driver bug you are mentioning?

Yep, that sounds like it! I fixed it by downgrading my drivers to version 22.11.2, but its unfortunate that this bug only appears in FH3 and specific areas of 4 because I have no idea if AMD will ever bother fixing it. I’m not looking forward to running 22.11.2 forever lol.
Interesting. I will try installing the version of the driver you are using and will report back if that fixes things.
As for AMD fixing it… Well FH3 sunset and FH4 isn’t the latest sequel in the series anymore so I’m guessing these issues may go unaddressed.
If nothing else, by fixing it through an older driver it can confirm that the GPU itself isn’t defective and doesn’t need RMA.

Update – I rolled back to the driver version you suggested and, boom - problem solved!
So, first off, thank you for replying to my post. You solved my problem! I appreciate it!
As for where that leaves the situation, well, yeah it’s what you said - sucks to be on an older version of the driver now, but at least I know my GPU isn’t defective.
I’ll put in a bug report to AMD and who knows maybe they’ll fix it for us one day.
Thanks again.
Update - fixed in AMD drivers 23.7.2!

My favorite Forza Horizon game with the best DLC. I still go back and play Blizzard Mountain every winter.
