The casual system can have the existing penalties and driver & safety rating that they have now. It would be if you just want to go have some fun in multiplayer or you’re a casual player that likes to do some online racing and you’re not too worried about getting bumped around or bragging to your roommate about how high you are ranked.
The ranked system could have very strict penalties and regulations, because the system we have now is an absolute joke. Getting knocked around and spun out and watching people get no penalty makes it unplayable for a lot of us. You couldn’t pay me to go into the multiplayer right now.
I know some are having decent experiences but by and large the penalty system is far too forgiving and does not accurately hand out penalties for the amount of ridiculous driving some people do.
Or a quick solution would be just to give us track day meet up again so people that want to casually drive around with other people on track and compare lap times can do that. Hint hint…
