I was recently called a wizard by members of the Forza community for spotting a clue that Long Beach was coming to Forza 5 a whole month before it was announced. You can read what turned out to be quite a funny thread here: I may have found a clue to an upcoming track
Well the wizard is back on top form, I hope, and I’m fairly sure I’ve spotted another new track coming to Forza 5. This time it’s not a new one but an old classic, and a monster, The Nurburgring.
In the Meguiar car pack announcement look at the photo of the Alfa GTV-6… Where is that?! It’s not Spa, it’s not Bathurst, I reckon it’s the Eifel Mountains, home of The Ring. I also reckon there will be more track layouts including the full circuit that links the GP track and the Nordschleife.
Right, well that’s it for now, I’m off to do the lottery… I’ve got a good feeling about tonight!
Another good spot! I agree that looks like The Ring! I was right about Long Beach and that came out first so maybe The Ring will be next. I hope so, I love the GP circuit and I hope that’s included! That’s what makes Nurburgring such a good additional track, you get the North Ring with all its sections, the GP track and the whole lot linked together.
Abra-funking-kadabra! What have I got up my wizard’s sleeve?!
Maybe I’ll go drive Spa later, and take a look. There’s more than enough detail there to match some landmarks, but I just can’t find the motivation yet this morning.
Hmmm I did look at that image and dismiss it as the Kemmel straight. But after watching a video the right hand side of the track has a dense row of trees and there is a high level catch fence all the way down. After 1200+ laps of Spa I can say that is NOT anywhere on Spa that I know of. If it is the ring then I would say it is take between the area after Flugplatz and Aremberg.
Maybe Uberchaun works for Turn 10 and he has just done this to throw us off the scent! There are trees along that bit of the Kemmel straight… and a bridge!
