Great pack! I love the 3 mentioned by Geministorm2:
1994 Fairlady Z Version S TT (300z)
Maserati MC12
Alfa Romeo 033 Stradale (freebie with my Car Pack)
And, the 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS (brings back some good memories)

Isn’t it more correct to say “buy 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale for $9.99 and you’ll get all other cars for free!”? I cannot drive it unless I purchase the $9.99 pack. That makes the car worth $9.99 especially so since I do not want any other cars.
AR33S is the only car I might be interested in but since that car costs $9.99, I think I’ll pass.
I think I would have maybe bought AR33S for $9.99 if it was actually advertised that way. Then I get 9 others cars I don’t really want/need for free! I can support that. I know it’s just wording but there is a difference.
“Guess What We Are Smoking Car Pack”
I am a full supporter of FM5 excluding the Car Packs.
Can somebody provide a logical explanation why race cars are not very sought after? I’m baffled by all the constant requests for family sedans and stuff your parents drive/drove…
All these purpose built race tracks and yet we get only a smattering of purpose built race cars in the game.
Next time why not just create replica of a freeway and have done with it, save modelling all these long and time consuming race tracks.
Yes i’m sure I’ll be shouted down, I know the racing car fans are the minority.
I was thinking the same… Maybe there is something brewing in an expansion with race cars only. More GT, German Touring, Prototype ect. along with a track or two:-) Pure speculation of course, but it does seem odd that there have been no race cars in the first three packs.
On a good note, I’m happy to see another Trans AM:-)
Actually they are… especially if your trying to form a Core Racing Group. like LMS, or IMSA, wether its European or American…
(They have alot of them already) but Im sure they will trickle out in car packs… A year from now you might be able to race with a complete spec series of ALMS (IMSA) or LMS (European) Although this may take a year.
You might be able to do a JTCC… (japanese tourning car series) however there are no tracks in Japan???
You could do a Australian V8 series… sorta, but they are missing the new 2013 spec Mercedes and Nissan… maybe they will come out later.
you could do a BTCC (British touring car series) but you would have to moderate the builds.
As for the new GrandAM Rolex/ALMS series… you would have to do alot of GT3 builds… however one of the biggest brands is not even available… Porsche… so again… ???
This car pack for February… Blah… really??? not wasting my money… I will wait for another car pack.
I’m reminded of a co-worker that loves to hate F1 and open-wheel racing altogether. One of his excuses is that they don’t even look like normal cars. He doesn’t care for purpose-built race cars if they aren’t like road cars. Evidently, the closer they are to regular road cars, the better. You can’t get any closer to regular road cars than actual road cars.
I’m not quite sure how you’re deducing from my post that I’m not a car fan, just because I’m less than impressed with the lack of race cars doesn’t automatically mean I dislike road cars. What you could’ve said was; “probably because you seem more of a racer than a car lover”…but of course you went in for a dig instead.
I could quite easily make up some spurious rubbish that you don’t like racing and any mode other than Forzavista is dead to you. Why a feature a game with tracks at all, if you’re a car fan why even bother racing? Would you prefer the next instalment of Forza to feature mainly a supermarket car park so you and you buddies can all park up next to each other and compare trim levels and your latest paint jobs? That would be more realistic and true to life, you’re more likely to see road cars there rather than a race track…
By all means continue jumping to the wrong conclusions though….
Yeah i really dont get it either… I understand that race cars fit into the wants of the minority, but if so at least put 1 race car in every pack, that way your satisfying everyone…
I’m starting to get a good picture of what theyre trying to do, theyll probably leave all of the weak cars that many people wont be interested in buying for these 6 packs(probably because you already paid for it with the Car Pass) and leave the intriguing cars to the last 6 packs, so they can actually charge us for the packs individually, and at a higher price.
