I guess it was the only way to ruin the Nordschleife… Make it a solo track.
I already know this track by heart because of assetto corsa so yeah … what’s the point ?
They want this game to be dead ASAP it seems.
Like most things T10 do, it seems to me that communication here is key.
It’s perfectly plausible that they’ve been working flat out to get the Ring in the game, there are certain physics changes that they need to make given the track length to make it work in Featured Multiplayer and/or they are thinking about doing a separate hopper. If that’s the case, then they should make an announcement to that effect asap.
Alternatively, if they are never intending to add it to MP for some reason, again that should be explained, as there must be some reason for it.
Hopefully, it’s the former situation and we will get a featured MP option shortly.

its incredibly lame if they dont add it to MP maybe as its won playlist. ITs fun to drive alone occasionally but it needs to be in MP to play against others

Please!!! I was so happy that we would finally get it on the multiplayer, and then I couldn’t find it at all, just to find out it was not coming to MP.

I highly doubt it’ll go in to the general FMP rotation any time soon, but given what they did with the Daytona event there’s no reason why they can’t have a dedicated hopper or two with different timing/length rules (ie 45 minute turnarounds in X/P/R/S and 60 minutes in A-E to allow for quali after a 4 lap race, for instance)
Or, have a single dedicated Nord hopper every week but cycle the class/spec, so Historic F1 one week and Hypercars the next.
Or, what really should have been in the game from the start, an Enduro hopper…

As another online only player I would vote for it to be in rotation also in multiplayer lobbies. Just because some don’t like it doesn’t make a valid reason for it not to be in multiplayer. There are tons of tracks many don’t like that are weekly rotation tracks yet they are there because there are many others that may like it. I’ve raced tracks I hated so many times now I like em for a reason or two. Now I will find something on every track to like and don’t mind what they throw in rotation and always race happy…

Lets hope next update they focus the multiplayer events around the Nords. There will be no new track coming so this would be a great time to spotlight the track.
At least let us know their plans for future addition if its not possible for some unknown reason at the moment.

Where’s the Nordschleife in Multiplayer?? Been racing in the Open A Class for 3 days and done all the tracks 3 times over and not once has The Green Hell appeared, what’s the deal with that?

There’s Le Mans which is dominated by high speed cars with stock tyre’s, maybe the green hell isn’t added because it’s too complex for some

It’s probably because the timings would make it difficult to fit in their current process and there may also be problems balancing the tyre wear correctly. Having a separate Nord event each week though would presumably solve some of those problems.

That would be the fun part, definitely no softs for a 2 lapper, maybe medium on certain cars but those won’t have the top end speed as they would be lighter weights, hards definitely but over the distance you might be able to pull softs with a pit.
Decisions decisions, go light and grippy or a power build for the 4 fast sections, it would be some great racing that’s for sure!
Definitely and with the different layouts just run one offset to the other and each week change the classes
1 lap, 2 lap and 3 lap variants and a super round of endurance at the end 5 or 10 laps
1 lap for E-A
2 laps for S to X
The length shouldn’t be an issue, if people can’t handle it they shouldn’t queue up for it.
7 months later, still waiting for endurance races.

Plus it pays good and the back runners can treat it as a cruise meet if they want, or a spot of drifting
