Look at how the duration of races in Gran Turismo is implemented, as in Asseto Corsa and other car simulators. People watch the streams, play and get a huge fan out of such races.
But we have a special Forza, which wants to be both an arcade and a simulator, but in the end it simply turns out to be an extremely low-quality product with bugs.
No I’m just saying people who love the Ring shouldn’t have to wait for it in rotation. It deserves its own permanent place so they can get a race anytime they want to. I’m going to give it a good go this time and learn it.
What a real dev would do is have a dedicated hopper for “Oval racing” with all the classic T/A cars and some late model nascars. But that would be a real dev.
I was thinking the same thing!
Can Turn10 not actually think Hey you know what would be… and implement things without customers having to log in, cast a vote in the SHUB and hope that it gets enough votes to make the game.
Must have something to do with player engagement and metrics for MS
smh
Imagine having 3 separate meetup hoppers:
24/7 ovals for Americans
24/7 Nordschleife
24/7 Fujimi Kaido / Shuto Expressway (both were acknowledged/suggested for vote by devs but I think Fujimi Kaido is more realistic option)
alright I need to chill, I hope we will at least get 1 meetup lobby for now
Yeah it’s dumb. Nothing like getting arguably the best track in the world and only being able to race against… yourself. Or AI but I don’t consider that racing.
Figure it out T10!
24/7 Nordschleife is the only answer. We don’t want to wait around for it to pop up twice a day in the scheduled rotation.
I played a private session with my clanmate and we set a 5 laps race: you have to pray the Gods you don’t need a bio break, so it’s quite difficult they’ll put it in normal multiplayer rotation. Maybe if they bring back endurance event we’ll see it coming in the rotation.
Gran Turismo is by far the best place to learn it. I learned it on GT5 but GT7 still has the “track experience” where you can master it one section at a time. There really is no better or faster way to learn it.
But once you learn it watch out, you’ll be addicted. It is the funnest and most gratifying track in existence. It scratches the itch in a way other tracks just can’t.
And FM’s rendition of it feels very close to GT7. The roundabouts feel a bit different but everything else is pretty spot on. You should transition back to FM without issue.
Private multiplayer is useless, cause there is no tyre wear or a slider for it.
No strategy needed. You can go 50 rounds with softs…Another great feature of this game.
I think Nordschleife should be a permanent lobby.
I’m sure T10 knew people want to race it online once it gets added.
Integration in normal Featured MP class hopper was ruled out since the announcement.
So why on earth didn’t we get a Nordschleife/GP class rotation hopper as we did for Daytona?
How can you consistently fail such easy tasks? You bring in the most requested track, advertise it and then don’t promote it in gameplay… I honestly can’t understand this lack of competency anymore.
