The next 12 months FM

For example, I’m playing Dead by Daylight for the fifth year now and there are always several roadmaps. For the whole year and also for the coming months. You know pretty much exactly when the events are coming, new maps, new chapters with killers or survivors, cosmetics, etc.
Even though DbD players like to complain, I don’t know of any game/publisher that is so well supported and communicates in an exemplary manner. If T10 were only half as good, that would be a 100% improvement.

By the way: Dead by Daylight may be a different genre, but it is also a live service game. If you look at the constant number of players and the YT/Twitch content, you can see what maintenance and communication can achieve. And that over years. T10 wanted a live service game, but I don’t think they understood that this also includes maintenance and communication. Something could have been done about the situation and the low number of players - if they wanted to.
And as for MS: Without MS, T10 would no longer exist.

Personally i feel as though the live service in this game isnt a business model, but more an excuse for delivering a minimal viable product. Either the game wasnt finished for good reasons or the reasons were a little more nefarious, we’ll likely never know.

:100: This game smells more like “live beta / early access” than “live service.”

Should never have been a paid title . You could excuse nearly everything if it was free to play and they just monetized tracks and car packs

last 11 past month have been without me…will be the same for the 12 next ones …its now time to stop “hoping”…after 13 updates with no real recovering of initial forza’s dna…

Next 12 months?! This game is on life support now. I guess they can try a reboot but other than that… I’m not holding out much hope.

Hello,

They really think we will have support for another 12 months. I don’t think so!
They promised to deliver a new and actually recycled track every month…lol And all this content should be at launch. What happened? The result is there for everyone to see, delays and more delays and future content was certainly canceled due to the poor launch with very few players. Microsoft is to blame for appointing Cris Ezaki as manager.
This is the last Forza I bought, 100 dollars thrown in the trash.

They’ve already set the precedent they’re only doing the bare minimum, recycled track and cars, maybe 1 new one, per update. Doesn’t really give hope they’ll improve things this late in. Hope I’m wrong.

We’ve gone from hoping that the next update will restore Forza to its former glory to will there be any update in the next year that can save Forza.

I think at this point the most glaring issue this game has is its development pipeline. A good example of this shortfall would be the radar system.

Besides forzas main competitors having a system like this, they launched without it. Within a week people were asking for it. A few MONTHS later it was acknowledged and it finally released 9 months after launch.

The guy who made the radar said it took a few weeks to make, yet the span between acknowledgement and finished product was roughly 6 months.

Im not saying it was easy to make, but its not an intensive addition to the game. If something like this, which was requested since launch took 9 months to be added, just imagine how long everything else would take.

I can imagine the dozens upon dozens of meetings trying to figure out a plan of some sort, since there wasnt one before, as to what do they actually do now. Countless hours then days then weeks then months, before they pull the trigger on not only basic things but anything at all.

This is not working, it doesnt work for a live service game, it doesnt even work for a non live service game. This game released in an unfinished state, i think everyone including turn 10 would agree with that. I just want to know, wheres the rest of it.

I know they internally are looking at things in the long term, but throw the players a bone here. Theyve lost thousands of players that will never play again nor will they recommend it to anyone. There arent thousands of players worth of untapped potential anymore, they missed that chance. But there are thousands of players who do still play, who would love to recommend it if they could, so they need to give them a reason to.

I am almost desperate for a roadmap at this point, something, anything to show that Microsoft and Turn 10 are committed to this game. I really enjoy it, even with its flaws, but I’ve been worried about this game’s future. A roadmap of some kind would do wonders for confidence.
