Just got the hilux in the game and noticed it’s pretty awesome but a bit broken too. Jump too high or Land wrong and wheels get stuck in the ground. Awd swap for it although it’s already awd. Suspension that can’t be tuned and is a bit dodgy at high speed as mine had a tendency to try and flip. Overall it’s a great trick for pretty much all round usage but has a few annoying bugs.

was gonne report this but you beat me to the punch, when taking a jump in the hotwheels expansion it’s quite reliable to slam the wheels through the floor, tried it in some cross country in the main game and manged to slam 1 wheel through the ground and later all 4 grabbed a screenshot to show one of it’s major problems , i’ve also managed to land ass first after a jump , the rear bounced so hard it flung it around causing me to land with the trunk lid aimed at the ground.
other then that gotta say though great patch, haven’t crashed anymore, 60 fps solid in surf city, cpu load being balanced nicely 
Mine usually lands on one side of the car on its wheels but then do a pretty awesome and funny barrel roll in the opposite direction and has happened quite a bit. Definitely a buggy car to say the least. Although swapping the diesel for a 2jz makes it incredibly fast and fun.
was just going to report this as well. I was stoked for this to finally arrive in forza but was quite disappointed with it being a buggy mess. Even with a 2JZ swap it’s hilariously slow compared to other eXtreme off-road examples tuned to A class.
It cant take jumps, probably the only thing its good for. So not good for anything. Super let down

I did that with an overweight-bugged Titan, but the Morgan got pushed all the way through the world. It was like it got totally destroyed leaving nothing but a few bits of shrapnel from the impact. Fun times.
This happens in the keep a bit on main game.
What I found eased it abut was to not be giving it throttle the whole way through the air and then hitting ground.
If I hit the ground then throttle I don’t get stuck into the ground. Don’t know why. Just worked for that specific car and it may be worth trying.
Mine also got stuck with 2 wheels in the ground after crashing and hitting a wall sideways during an online race. After a minute of messing around of i managed to get it free though
Same problem here. Land a big jump and it goes through the ground and gets stuck -_-
Can’t alter the suspension settings either. Can’t change the ride height or springs…
yup, same here. as soon as you drive over a cliff ore jump the tire will come back up again. other than that you need to respawn to get your tire on top of the ground again.
To the devs: you can see it in the Tuesday twitch/beam with john. it happened there too.
Quick question, why can I not make any changes to the Toyota Hilux springs? The bump and rebound are on super soft and can’t be changed. If I could change this and make the back end a little less, shall we say, bumpy, I could use this vehicle and have fun doing cross country runs. As it is now i think this is the only vehicle on FH3 that no changes to the springs can be made. Let me know I am really curious. BTW I do all my own tuning on vehicles and have a fairly good understanding how to set up a competitive car.

I had been wondering the same thing.
Maybe, because this car suspension is buged. I repeated 8 times in 4 diffrent places same bug, when suspension get stuck in texture. I play on PC if this matter. I’m very sad about this, because this could be perfect S1 class offroad car.

Pretty sure same issue happens on Xbox as well. I’ve not taken the hilux racing - but happens with jeeps , and my torana HE in a class as well.
I’ve no idea why and it’s not always consistent.
I noticed it getting a wheel dug into the floor. Usually one of the fronts after landing a jump or cornering at high speed. Annoys the hell out of me!

That is annoying for sure, but I think the OP was referring to the “not being able to adjust suspension” issues with the truck. The tuning menu shows them being unlocked but you can’t adjust the slider.
My bad. I haven’t looked at the tuning for this yet. Cool car but shame it has issues with glitching and tuning.
I agree also there is a bug that buries the tires into the ground and you are stuck and have to reset. I believe this glitch must be all related.
