I’ve hung around enough of them through a few jobs. The engine is the best part*. Once you get past that, there’s the rest of the car/truck to deal with, and I knew personally of two Jeep Wranglers in my area that are still on the road because the owners are completely held captive by the sunk-cost fallacy. Not old ones either - well within 6 model years old. If I were looking for an SUV, a Jeep would be at the bottom of the list. In fact, if I were looking for a different car right now, I’d be hard-pressed to show interest in any current-day FCA product.

- Gee, that sounds familiar. Like a game that’s discussed fairly often here.

There are those among us who post to promote good discussion.
The discussion is geared towards the HEMI engine and swap options available within the game
But the stock engine hasn’t received much of a decent look.
Stock; 6.2l HEMI. The two overbore options calculate to approximately a .030 and an .050 overbore. Whereas the maximum recommended overbore for this engine is actually .020. Which only increases the displacement to 6227cc. The two options in the engine displacement selection aren’t even actual available engine sizes for the car. The race option does come close the the 6.4 HEMI.
If they bump the displacement up to 6.5l on the Hellcat engine they should at least bump the hp up to the 807hp of the 6.4l hellcat redeye. The 733hp they give the 6.5l version falls 74hp short with 1l more displacement.
But this should be in the engine swap options. To swap out for a 6.4l. Along other more reasonable swap options appropriately selected for a modern muscle car.

Granted there are other differences between the Hellcat, Redeye, and Demon when it comes to how they make their power. Boost increases (however slight) play a factor as well. Timing, and fuel delivery as well. It’s how they can get to 1000 and 1500 on their crate engines which are based off of the Hellcat/Demon powerplants.

Problem with this discussion is that we’ve got the developers going “WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?”.
