The game after the last March update can not start, what about it?

Only the game logo will appear when the game starts, and the game will immediately fall back to the windows. You can find an error message in the Windows event viewer:

How to fix the problem? The game was up and running before the update. Even reinstalling the game did not help.

same here, happens to FH3 as well. Installed the latest Win10 update today…still won’t start. WEIRD!

People have solved this by installing a random application from the Windows Store, and after installing, start the game again.

Otherwise its a file/folder permission related issue in Windows, this can happen after a certain WindowsUpdate etc.

My current workaround (and I have to do this everytime I turn my computer on yay) is I uninstall one of the DLC items in Add/Remove programs and then go to the store and reinstall it. Then the game will boot fine
